Breakfast Restaurant Chow reviews
16 Just had a wonderful Easter Brunch at Chow! Our waiter Layton was wonderful-enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu and our choices. The service was fast for a holiday brunch. Our party had the crab patty, Locavore and red steak dishes. All clean plates!
Great atmosphere! Cant wait to try another dish soon. Also they have a great list of gluten free options.
Pretty expensive for what you get but the food was good. Thankful to have at least one brunch spot with vegan options in Bend.
Breakfast was great. But. Not at all what is on the menu. I ordered biscuits and gravy with vegetarian sasauge gravy. I received biscuits and gravy with mushroom gravy. No vegetarian sasauge. I also ordered the taters. They were missing the carmilized onions and garlic. But good taters. So. Good food. Just didn't match what the menu stated. Also no printouts of nutrition facts. We have a diabetic in our party and it was awkward to see the info photo off of the managers phone. But, they were helpful and made it work. Printouts would be a great and easy upgrade.
For a vegan, GF family, we were disappointed. There is usually quite a wait here, so much so that we came back a different day to try to get seating. We sat down and the GF vegan pancakes were not available and no longer even vegan, which was not marked on the menu. We ordered pretty much our only other option which was the tofu scramble ($17). The tofu was not seasoned, but it was decently tasty with the veggies. The potatoes were good. Other then that, the staff were friendly.
We were passed up for our table twice and had to ask twice about it and pointed it out on the list. Got seated and waited another 15 minutes for rude rushed service. I don't mind waiting, but being disrespected and treated like we are the ones blessed by their food is ridiculous. Won't be back.
Customer service was impeccable. Very accomidating to our family and kid friendly. Every thing we ordered was made well and with clean ingredients. You can tell when you are eating fresh food, everything from the bread itself was handmade in house. That being said great hardy breakfast options Benny was amazing and the hash. In addition the fruit bowl made me feel like I was on a tropical island.
I ordered eggs and they put cilantro on it! In the menú doesnt said it comes with cilantro.not very good!
Came in on Saturday with no reservation and surprisingly did not wait more than 10 minutes for a table. The staff were so friendly and the Bloody Mary 10/10! Ideal brunch spot IMO
A 5 star meal after an intense family cross-country skiing session. The restaurant was super busy and the servers were going 50 MPH, they’re amazing.
We were waiting awhile to get seated, and I politely asked a server behind the bar if they had any time to pour a couple drip coffees while we waited. I said, "I know that you are probably pretty busy, so not a huge deal. " The server very rudely told me that he has a ton of tables that just got seated and he has no time to do that because there is no bartender. I understood and we continued to wait outside for our table.
A couple minutes later I hear him and another server in the bar area talking about how we asked for coffees, and he denied us, and laughing about it mimicking in very condescending voices. "I know that you are busy but. ".
After working in the service industry for many years, I would never have treated a customer that was very considerate and polite in that fashion. That is unnecessary and childish.
I will definitely be making sure that I never recommend this establishment to any of our Bend community friends and family.
One of my favorite brunch spots in town. I don't go here often just because I don't want to ruin it for myself.
This place is awesome. The bloody Mary, food and atmosphere was great. The lady working was really nice. One of my new favorite spots
Staff was really nice and was very busy when i went there. I ordered a bloody mary and a chicken fried steak. Bloody mary was really good, chicken fried steak was a bit different with the blue cheese and random garnishes. Also really small for a $20 chicken fried steak.
Amazing food and service! We had breakfast and it was one of the best we've had.
Their server Layton was amazing, hustling the whole time!
Nice to see young people working hard.
Will definitely come back to Chow next time we're in Bend.
Be prepared to have your tastebuds dance and wear your stretchy pants. Chow is the place to have brunch and indulge in bacon cheddar grits. The outdoor ambiance was great. The coffee is phenomenal and the Bloody Marys are sooooo good.
Great meals and amazing waiter was the hardest worker I've ever seen. Would recommend this place for breakfast to anyone. Great atmosphere, great food, great art on the wall.
