Chulo's Birria Mexican Food reviews
18The pod is nice and the food is delicious. The people that work there really have a passion and the son taking the orders is top notch! Great customer service.
I dont really ever feel the need to write reviews as most places have a relatively accurate rating. This place is a joke. $4 per taco and if you get birria its ANOTHER $4 FOR THE BROTH.the tacos were half the size of my hand, it was like i ordered off the kids menu.half the food for double what its worth.not to mention the meat had little to no flavor which i have never in my life encountered with tacos.taco bell has more flavor than their carne asada which is baffling to even type.i could go on but i think you get the idea.dont go here unless you want to overpay for an underwhelming food experience.what a joke
This place needs to rebrand as Two Bite Tacos because at least that way you'd know what you're getting for $5.20 each.
Needless to say the tiny tacos were visually disappointing, but I was hopeful that the flavor was there, especially for the price. It's not. Absolutely bland and flavorless. What a disappointment.
The quesabirria was super soggy and only had cheese on the seam, not actually inside of it. When I walked up the cook was on their phone and looked at me then went back to their phone until I had lingered for a few minutes. Only got one tiny little slice of radish for two street tacos, and the consome was pretty bland. The Spanish rice was bland too. Overall it was disappointing and I won't be back.
Wow! What an amazing meal! My family met some friends for dinner and were treated to some wonderful food. The service was great thanks to a wonderful host! We will be back for sure:)
Best tacos in town! 4 beef tacos filled me up, they were so flavorful and juicy and it came with some delicious broth
Get something with the crispy fried cheese and you won't regret it. Friendly service fresh food delicious flavor profiles.
Great taco in town. You won't regret it. I highly recommend it. It's worth driving from Portland to here. I love it.
Incredibly bland asada burrito. For $12 + tip, I feel robbed. Burrito was undersized. Plain white rice? Tasted like Minute box rice. Very poor showing of authentic Mexican food. Seriously I have had more flavor in a chipotle burrito. Only thing that salvaged it was dousing it in salsa. I feel like this place has been self-inflating their ratings….
The food and vibe was amazing definitely recommend for a casual summertime
dinner with some friends!
First time trying this place, and I was overall really happy with the meal and service. I ordered a Birria quesa taco and a carne asada burrito. The taco was flavorful and paired excellent with their green and red/orange salsa. I really appreciated the flavor of the Birria and the flavorful tortillas that weren’t overly drenched in the broth. The carne asada burrito was good too! I appreciated the healthy dose of sour cream and the overall flavors and consistency of the ingredients. The tortilla was lightly grilled just how I like it.
The customer service was great to; it seemed like a mom and her son. The son was working on his order taking/cash register skills, and the mom was very patient with him.
My only nitpick suggestions is that I generally prefer a little crisp on my carne asada and the rice could have been a little more flavorful. One or two more salsa options would be a cool extra.
I’ll definetly be back! Thank you.
This food was incredibly disgusting. The menu is way overpriced who puts whole pinto beans in a burrito? The pastor tastes like it was purchased premade at a grocery outlet. At least the salsa was decent. I threw most of my food in the trash.
Went on a busy monday night while a lot of other carts were closed. Mother and son were working the cart and the boy is so sweet taking orders and handing out drinks. The food came out in a reasonable time for how busy they were. Got 3 crunchy tacos with birria and they were great! Came with 2 sauces and the consome i had with them was good too.
People will say things like “small taco too expensive” or whatever, but in this food market they are doing amazing, prices are the same as any other birria cart, there’s absolutely nothing to complain about!
Really good, but very small portion. $3 taco and it’s on those mini tortillas. Take it or leave it, but for me it’s expensive for the size
Excellent meal! Super delicious, the flavors that will make you feel good accompanied by good service. Recommendable!
Good place to have tried a new experience of very good birria tacos and very delicious asada tacos and burritos
Best tacos in town I highly recommend Chulo’S Birria if you hangry, get the best and fresh tacos….
The best birria I have tried in this beautiful country, without a doubt it reminds me of my beautiful Mexico, highly recommended. It made us cross borders to reach the palate of the most demanding.
