Clackamas Pet Clinic

Our relationship with CPC started when we rescued 3 kittens (unexpectedly) during the Covid shutdown. This veterinary clinic has been a life saver for us!

Was able to see our cat on an urgent basis, communicated extremely well and kept us very informed of care, reasonably priced and even followed up the next day. Definitely recommend.

I’ve had many dogs through the years, all breeds, all different personalities all different sicknesses. Recently acquired a little Shih Tzu dog from one of their clients. This is my first time dealing with this particular veterinary clinic. I’ve never had a clinic. Call me the next day to see how my dog Myla was! Personal attention to my furry friend is very important to me, and I will highly recommend this clinic to my friends and family.

Even after moving a bit further away, we still drive to go to Clackamas Pet Clinic because they’re just fabulous! Everyone is friendly, the providers are straightforward and kind, and I never feel “upsold” on things just for the sake of it; as a result, I fully trust them when there is a test or procedure our cats need done. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The staff is friendly and considerate, as well as very professional and knowledgeable. I feel like they care about me and my pet. My only criticism is that the clinic seems expensive.but I also recognize that every pet clinic is going to be expensive. I don't feel like Clackamas Pet Clinic is *more* expensive than other clinics.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can tell they love what they do. I like that they take the time to answer any questions that I have and they're always up front about the price so that I'm not hit with a major expense that I wasn't expecting.

New staff is wonderful. Took special care of pets and was very appropriate with me. Desk help was great and met needs immediately.

They are great! Jay (I hope his name) was especially personable and kind and the nicest vet tech I've ever met!

I am very impressed with this Pet Clinic. I had my cat spayed over a year ago and had a $50 credit. When I took a different cat in for an exam recently, they not only honored my credit, but both of the women examining my cat were gentle and caring towards us both. I couldn’t have been more pleased, and I will be back.

We have been coming here for years and through a handful of different ownership. Recently our care has been really great. So improved from a few years ago! They are so good with our dog who is especially chicken when it comes to clinic visits. They have very fair pricing and they always call to check our on pups the next day.

Update 11/2023 - we have left Clackamas Pet Clinic. I want to say that I will always appreciate Nicole at the front desk. She was always helpful and kind. Unfortunately the level of care, professionalism, and communication has declined rapidly over the last few years. I don’t know what triggered these changes but it’s not even possible to take your pet in when they are ill. If you call and need help they will schedule you weeks out, or refer you to urgent care. This isn’t just a one time problem, it’s an every time problem. That’s not a good set up for pets. You want to be able to take them to the same place and people. If your pet may need periodic care and not just a yearly check up I would recommend you choose another clinic in town.

Been here a few times now and I trust them with our cats. I haven't had to wait after arriving since the first time, and the staff is friendly and polite, and treats our kitties well. They don't do things that feel like money grabs that waste time and energy, unlike some other clinics I've been to and called.

Been here once with my two cats for wellness exams and a vaccine. Kind of a long wait after getting into the exam room at our appointment time, but doctors offices always are, so not a huge deal and to be expected. WAY better than any walk in comparably priced location in the area. The tech and the vet were both friendly and pleasant. They were both very nice and gentle to my cats. They gave them treats and tried to make it less stressful.

I did have to repeat myself to the vet after telling the tech some stuff, but it wasn't a big deal. It just that some of the concerns I wanted to address that I told the tech probably would have been forgotten if I hadn't brought them up again to the vet directly. Not the most thorough, but probably adequate. Not sure I can 100% trust them on everything, but it's only been one visit, so it's too soon to know.

So far, worlds better than Beaverton's Sunshine pet clinic or Gresham's companion pet clinic. They are not affiliated with companion pet clinic. It's just that it would cost them money and be a real pain to get the old stuff removed on maps from the companion clinic that was in this building before them.

Update: Feb 2023 went again with new 3rd cat and i liked the vet and tech. I feel pretty comfortable with getting her spayed here and the exam they did.based on this visit I'd give 5 stars, but given i wasnt fully impressed the first time, I'll give it some more time

Amazing clinic-they have been nothing but amazing to my two doggies and cats for the past several years; that kind of consistency of quality over time is hard to find. The staff is so wonderful too, I’m so thankful for their wonderful and dedicated care to the furry family population!

Everyone we encountered at Clackamas Pet Clinic was exceptionally friendly, compassionate and helpful. We were able to get in quickly with our wounded cat. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet.

It's hard not to give them 5 stars as their costs are so reasonable and the providers are good enough. They don't pressure you into purchasing unnecessary stuff for your dog.

They were able to get my very sick dog in quickly and Dr. Tello is by far the brightest, kindest veterinarian I have ever met. He is an absolutely brilliant doctor, he was able to diagnose my dog and come up with a treatment plan after several other doctors at a highly rated vet hospital overlooked critical findings on my dog's bloodwork causing them to come up with a complete misdiagnosis.
