Post is from Tracy, hubs log in. Columbia has the best vets who love what they do. While challenging sometimes for an appt for surgery they always get you in.

Emergency call, no notice and my kitty was treated and sent home in less than an hour. So happy with sercive, staff and doc.

The veterinary was very kind, and caring, as was the whole staff to our pet. I highly recommend Columbia veterinary hospital!

Dr.lindsay and her staff run a great hospital! My pup was bitten by a brown recluse spider - they got her in right away, fixed her up, and got us on recovery medicatinos that worked like a charm.highly recommended:)

The staff is very professional. They did an explained everything clearly. They took very good care of our pet and they are reasonably priced.

Disappointed that hours have been cut back although understandable as a business necessity. It was reassuring to know that emergency services were available until 10 PM 7 days a week - now only during operating hours five days a week. Horses don't follow that schedule. On recent emergency I was told they could come out in 30 days. I really liked the vets but who can wait 30 days with a sick horse? Hopefully, this is a temporary thing.

In all my years of having pets, there's only been one vet clinic that could compare to Columbia Veterinary Hospital. The staff, from vets to front desk, are amazing. They are friendly, competent, and always on top of task at hand. I could only wish that MY medical care providers were as caring and knowledgeable as Columbia Veterinary Hospital!

We had to say goodbye to our lovely sweet Dayzee dog today, We are truly thankful for the 13 good years she shared with us. Dr, Becky and staff were caring, kind and very thoughtful of how we were feeling. We feel you all went above and beyond on this difficult day. We thank you. This was the respect and kindness we will share with any and everyone who has a pet they love and want the best care possible. Again, we appreciate you and your kindness in our time of sadness.

The vet and vet tech were both kind and gentle with my kitty. Plus, they provided a solution for something that I have seen multiple other vets about. I'm glad to have found a great vet clinic nearby!

Great vet, really helped my Lil man in his time of need. Haven't had to wait for scheduled appointments. Very inviting facilities, and you can't ask for a better view

You guys are seriously aaaaamazing. For someone not being from here and who's dog got attacked by another dog you guys made everything so smooth. I was told you where not taking new patients but we really appricate you getting Rittz in, running test and the bed side manner from his vet was top notch. I'd highly recommend you guys to anyone. I wish we where permanent residents of The Dalles so he could have such a fantastic vet all the time. Thank you for speedy response. From the time we walked in the door to the time we left we felt very welcomed and knew our K9 was in great hands. Again THANK YOU SO MUCH! Such a scary situation to be in and you calmed my nervous so well!

Very good Pet Hospital, nice to pets and after you leave they called twice to make sure animal was ok at home. Highly recommend to take your animals here.

Very friendly staff that is always helpful. Good location for those with larger animals and need a special vehicle to transport them, like a horse. Nice view from the waiting room. A clean and sterile looking environment is reassuring that they are thorough. Doctors are good about informing people about the efficacy of treatment options and helping to weigh the cost benefit analysis of treatment options for your animal.

First misdiagnosed our cat said he had a pulled muscle instead he had an abscess and got very sick. Our dog had a seizure and was bleeding out of his mouth and backside and we called the emergency vet and was rudely told that she was 40 minutes away and that we should take him to Portland which is an hour and a half away. If I could give less than one star I would, terrible veterinary service. 10/21/2022 In response to your response not once were we told that you suspected an abscess, after the abscess erupted that was when you said it was an abscess, if you had thought there might be the chance of an abscess why wouldn’t you shave and make sure just a thought!

This is the best vet service we have been involved with since our beloved Dr Laura passed. We would recommend them to anyone and have. They are caring, pleasant, affordable and have a sense of humor. The facility is spotless, the staff friendly, and they are easy to find.

This is the worst veterinarian clinic around. I've been a client for 12 years before they practice was sold and moved. It used to be a fantastic caring place that looked after your pets, thats no more. Now its how much money can they get out of their clients. I'll spare you my stories but I'll say this find another place of you love your pets this place has gone from great to horrible. Oh don't rely on the reviews on there site they only allow the ones they like.

The team of awesome people at Columbia Vet Hospital have been there for me in emergencies. I appreciate all of their hard work to keep our pets happy and healthy!
