Community of Hope, Portland OR

This organization turns down homeless families after families give so much personal information. Communication is unclear when calling and knowing there is an opening. When I called it seemed like there was no one else they were looking at. Harmony failed to tell me someone was in front of me. I did not get in because it is not a good fit. So is being outside? That is a good fit for families? I would not come here. There is no compassion here, when it comes to single families struggling with homelessness. I feel used and this organization gets away with using peoples information. I felt the lady interviewing me was just looking for ways to get information from me so I can give insight to my situation. I do not qualify? Why? I was not told why but I know why and it is unfortunate that I was judged. I felt the lady interviewing me had a different view religiously and also in an example I shared with her. This was a personal thing. One more thing to mention. They do two interviews that are the same. One is over the phone and one in person. They questions were basically the same. So I understand the questions and the agreement. The lady interviewing me was questioning me on the living space knowing I was aware of the arrangement. I felt the lady used that as well for her decision and that by far is very disappointing as well. This organization does not look in the best interest of families but there own. Horrible experience here feeling vanurable, tired, with no sleep and this was complete waste of my time. So if you stay here you will be walking on eggshells good luck wit that.

Hope is often what we loose but with faith you can find again the power to believe. I have found a sister hood an created happy healthy loving memories here. The staff here are phenomenal they are relatable well gifted women with unique natural superpowers that show up in there power of belief. If you have lost Hope an are looking to find it back inside of you.come here an builded back in you
