Cooper Ridge Vineyard, Roseburg OR

We stopped in for a tasting while on a road trip because we'd seen pictures of the view from the patio and they were dog friendly. The wine was good and we left with a bottle of Tempranillo. What I feel like I didn't see mentioned in the reviews and wanted to bring attention to was the staff and how friendly and accommodating they are. A heater was turned on for us before we got to our table with the dogs by a separate little path that led around the inside of the winery. We were given blankets, rounded on frequently, and when a light sprinkle started there were people out to roll out the umbrellas without us asking. We're frequent tasters everywhere up and down the coast, and while most places are pleasant enough Cooper Ridge stood out in service.

3.5-4 not connoisseurs wine but a lovely, friendly experience. Merlot and Tempranillo shine above the rest. Excellenty experiencee for a group that we had.

We recently went to a friend’s home there in Roseburg and were served this really delicious wine. We truly enjoyed it (and we have a California palate, which seems to look for real heartiness.) So we made a trip out to the winery for a full tasting! We were not disappointed! Very good. BTW: It was so hot that day. About 100 degrees°! We were very hot but sat outside so we could overlook the beautiful valley. We will be back.

They have a nice tasting area, but I personally didn't think the wines were as interesting as other vineyards in the area which is the only reason I went with 4 stars. Wish I could do 4.5. It's possibly due to the tiny glasses they use - they're cute, but I think they suffocate the wines a bit. They do have a good variety, an awesome cheese plate, lots of tables indoor and outdoor and really nice staff!

Best. Whether you want the best view, the best Gruner, or the best ambiance, Cooper Ridge has it.

So friendly, full of local recommendations & beautiful! Next time we need to stay in their guest house.

Beautiful setting. Quality wines, which have improved. We enjoy visiting occasionally and bringing out of town visitors. Friendly staff.

We happened to stop in for some wine tasting the same day as their wine club pick up and were able to partake in a fun pairing. Six wines paired with small bites they prepacked lunch bag style! Staff was friendly and they have a beautiful outdoor patio with gorgeous views! We will definitely visit again!

Great place and good American wines. I especially like the Merril Ann red, but the Pinot is also excellent. Snacks are available and high quality. Staff quite enjoyable.

My family visited Oregon for the month of April and the RV park we stayed at gave us a free wine tasting voucher for Cooper Ridge Vineyard.

I left the kids with my husband and went out to see what kind of wine they had and hopefully buy a bottle to remember Oregon by.
I arrived and immediately felt out of place and unwelcome. The older gentleman serving the wine made no effort to have a conversation with me or recommend a wine that I might like. After finishing the tasting (with gorgeous views out on the patio!) I went in to see if there were any dessert wines I could purchase, but wasn't even acknowledged as I entered back into the building so I left without purchasing anything sadly.

Beautiful facility and location but their customer service was lacking.

As always a pleasure to see Robin, Lesa and staff. Had a bottle of Temp on the deck.the weather was great and the wine superb!

Beautiful scenery and had a nice walk through the vineyard eating grapes. Will definitely return!

Lovely tasting room with views overlooking the vineyard, friendly staff and delicious wines. A great place to catch up with friends and family and enjoy the sunshine on the two floor patio.

What a beautiful place and what breathtaking views. Loved this winery. Wine was good and cheese platter was okay. Service was great. I highly highly highly recommend visiting this place during your Roseburg stay.

What a beautiful place! Very inviting inside and out. Outside are tables with umbrellas to shield you from the sun. The deck overlooks the vineyards and the mountains in the distance. When we arrived on a Thursday afternoon in September, we were greeted and served promptly. There were only a couple of other tables occupied. We enjoyed most of the wines and in particular the Rose and Pinot Noir which we bought. It would be nice if they waived the tasting fee when you purchased a couple bottles. All in all, an enjoyable way to spend an hour or two! Update to my original review: I went back and looked at my receipt and we did receive a 10% discount. Thanks to the owner for pointing that out!

Excellent views robust wines.charlie is the best guest co ordination. Take the time to enjoy
