Super slow! Not reacting to customers questions! After I got a message that representative is ready to assist me I waited for another 20 minutes while the guy was doing anything but my paperwork

Particular RV was bid on with normal wear tag, and prepared to be picked up. Upon arrival, large hole with large amounts of mold was found in bathroom ceiling. Manager was contacted and agreed that item was misrepresented. Manager then agreed to return buyers money minus certain fees. RV was then listed again in normal wear condition with no additional photos of damage. Facility continues to deceive buyers even after being made aware of defective listing status. Facility does not represent best interests of buyers.

They ripped me off and illegally allowed me to bid on a vehicle that was not marked on the website as biohazard. I am not allowed to bid on that type of vehicle because i am not a dealer. So I reported these criminals since both times they told me it wasy problem and to deal with it.

Horrible service! Sold me a what I thought was a clean title car, (stated in the listing as such) Once I got the title it was a branded title. Took over a week to resolve only because I had to call them every single time. They finally acknowledged their mistake and let me send the car back. They WILL NOT reimburse my transport fees to return the car, even though they sold me a salvaged title and it was their error. So I am out $250.

Great people, service is amazing.
You need to Remember this is an auction. They do not inspect the cars. You need to Inspect before you buy. Copart doesn’t own most of the cars sold.
You will not be able to drive them prior to bidding on them. Many cars at any auction have issues this is why they are there being sold. Perfect cars are not sold here. So set you expectations low, and you’ll be happy with your purchase.

The GM was mean and inconsiderate. I love buying from this yard but after the last phone conversation with their GM. I'm seriously considering not buying from them anymore.

I've been buying cars from Copart lots for years. In the last 12 months, I've bought 2 items from the Portland South location, and both were a problem. The first was a travel trailer that was listed as "minor dents and scratches" and also claimed that they had keys for it. Well, the trailer had a massive gouge in the siding down the length of the trailer, a broken skylight, and did not come with keys. The damage was not visible in the photos. The staff was unsympathetic and refused to do anything meaningful. In the second case, someone rolled down a window in the car and left it that way, for months. Copart never protected the car in their own lot, and by the time I won the auction, the car was soaked inside and growing mold. I've also seen several listings (that I didn't bid on) that had missed listing obvious damage. I understand that sales are "as-is, where-is" and they aren't responsible for the accuracy of listing info, but Portland North and Eugene don't make these mistakes. IMHO, this lot does a lousy job of inspecting the vehicles when they come in, and don't really pay attention to them in their lot. I now avoid buying from this lot.

Worst wait time experience ever. Said 15 min and took an hour and 10 min. Worker walk inside without masks and only one person is helping customers.

I was very surprised how this location handles there business. This is the second wreck in 2 years that I have been involved in. When I came to retrieve my personals out of my property the person that stood by was not helping at all. Some of his comments and behavior was un acceptable for a person that is supposedly a yard manager. I asked if there was anyone above him to talk to and he informed me there was but he would not be able to talk to me because he was in a meeting I need to make an appointment with him. I have never been treated this badly and had so many comments made to me.

Great Staff but guy who brought my car on the forklift had the car tilted it up too much and it dented amd damaged the front bumper on both sides that made contact to the forklift. Car was damage free when I saw it until that happened. He pretended like nothing happened.

I had a bad experience, I went to see some vehicles that I wanted to buy and it turns out that in the information of the vehicles through the application and on the website, they had Key but At the time of going to see them, together with the Copart employee that accompanies you at the time of the inspection the vehicles did not have the key inside them, the person spoke through the intercom asking if the keys were in the office and the answer was NO, apparently the keys were stolen from the yard of COPART. I do not understand how there can be people who do this kind of thing. In my personal opinion I think that something as important as the keys of the vehicles should be in the administrative shelter and every person who goes to inspect a vehicle the key is delivered and then returned. I hope you give importance to a very delicate issue.

I dont understand them.they charge you for everything and this time it seemed you cant check what youre bidding on.also theyve changed the times for previewing but their employees dont even understand their own rules.

Very supportive throughout the buying experience. Portland South facility were professional and helped me coordinate with my carrier to arrange pickup. Appreciate the daily storage fee being $5 per day.

Just bad, I have shopped and bought cars all over the USA from Coparts and this Woodburn Oregon store is a joke. The yard staff are on some kind of power trip and the most disrespectful bunch of people. Sad, I buy about 6 cars a week and I will never go back to Woodburn Coparts South Oregon

I’ve been to both Portland copart locations and other area auctions.

Thus one is by far the worst.

Copart has the highest fees and the most difficult process to view a vehicle before you bid. The corporate narrative states it’s open to the public but it’s heavily biased towards dealers with expense accounts, and “member services, although polite, has little sway with the timing of getting things in order so individual buyers seeking to bid on vehicles for personal use can compete.and then there are the fees.which even the employees can’t seem to explain.and after all that every auction is online.with additional fees for that.which is unavoidable because there isn’t any on site auctions.oh, and you’re also bidding against international buyers and dealers.who also have the advantage of “midnight special” online auctions the public isn’t admitted to.

In the end when all of the costs of the auction are added up, a “civilian” is paying an average of 49% in fees and premiums in addition to the highest bid, and you have 3 days to tow it out.also at your cost, with no warranty or pre purchase reconditioning.

That’s not a bargain. It’s a major ripoff.

In the end you can buy from a private party with more confidence or pay the same price at a used dealership for a car that’s been cleaned up with a 30 day warranty.

As for this location, compared to others it’s the worst managed on the west coast. You’ll never get through to a human being at that location on the phone, and if you show up during viewing hours trying to look at a car you want to bid on, the people at the counter are clueless, and apparently even if a car is set to be auctioned, it can be sold without notice. The guy in front of me in line drove 6 hours to view a car listed for auction in 2 days only to find out it had been sold in a side deal earlier that day and when he asked why he hadn’t been told, and why it was still listed online fir sale, no one was willing to give him an answer.including management.

I went to look at 4 possible cars scheduled for the next days auction and was sent out to the lot with a jump kit that wasn’t charged and a hand drawn map. None of the cars were at the indicated locations and none of the office or lot employees had a clue where they were, nor was anyone willing to find out.

Wasted over 3 hours of my life plus travel.not to mention the guy in front of me who lost a full day.

There’s no excuse for that kind of mismanagement. Don’t even bother with this outfit unless you enjoy sacrificing valuable time and effort for nothing, and expect to pay more street value for whatever you get when it’s all added up.

. And never ever bid on a vehicle you’ve not inspected because the descriptions and stated condition are “subject to error and change” and most are trashed and it’s “as is where it is” plus daily storage.

If you really want to look for a car at auction, There are other local options that allow you to look and start before you bid and you’ll pay far less in fees and selling price.
