Corvallis Power Equipment

I had an issue with my Stihl string trimmer. I like to know how to fix my own equipment so I'd done some research on how to repair it myself. Plus I recently brought my Stihl leaf blower to coastal farms for repair and they did a repair that cost almost as much as a new blower. I think they should have called me before doing that because I would rather have bought a new one. So I came to Corvallis power equipment. I explained all the things I'd done to try and fix it. I bought 2 carburetors from Amazon trying to fix it. They didn't make me feel stupid for doing that but did recommend Stihl brand. I explained that I wanted to try and fix it myself because the minimum charge is 42 dollars for the mechanic to take a look and 80 per hour. So if likely be spending over 100 if I had them look and install a new carburetor and at that price point I should consider just buying a new one. So I bought the Stihl brand carburetor from them and then I installed it. It still didn't work so I went back to ask them for more tips. They actually looked at it and said it was flooded but didn't charge me for that. Then I felt stupid. But they were gracious and didn't rub it in.
