I believe the guy who did my nails was named Jimmy. He was kind, gentle and went slow to give me perfect and symmetrical nails. They are so sweet and have great prices. I’m obsessed with my nails and in awe of this place. Definitely worth my time and money. Make sure you take cash, because they deserve the tip 100%

I was able to make an appointment and get in quickly for a pedicure. They did a great job and I will be back.

First time going here. I am such a perfectionist and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I was actually listened too! I didnt have to repeat myself and I felt respected. Which is a BIG deal to me! I hate having to constantly ask to have my nails not filed, but here, I asked once and she said okay and didnt shorten and file them! It was an amazing experience and my nails turned out beautifully!

Jenny and Shayla are a great team. Such lovely people and very skilled nail technicians! Walked away with some beautiful acrylics.

Excellent! I came in on OSU Mother's Weekend and they got both my pedicure and manicure done! Very relaxing. Very good!

Jennifer does a fantastic job. I'm always super happy with the way they look and how fast she gets them done. She is always friendly.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Rude staff, ground off mine and my friends cuticles with the UNCLEANED acrylic tool. When we went to talk to them about our irritated and infected cuticles they were unwilling to discuss and bad mouthed us in front of us to other customers. DO NOT GO HERE!

I've been here twice in the last month in a half for acrylics. I asked for them to push back my cuticles (customary in other salons) and they said sure and then ground them off with their acrylic grinder tool. They keep those heads for that drill in their altoid boxes and don't clean them after each customer which is the main reason it's a 1 star review. My cuticles got infected and I had to have bandaids on multiple fingers for about a week (not cute.) Upon expressing our concerns nicely to the works they rolled their eyes and the other staff talked to the other customers about how we just complain and it's all untrue. They said they could only refund us if they took our nails off which, I'm not looking for another infection. I gave them another try (why I went back) to see if the first infection was a fluke. It was not. Please don't go here.

Very painful & rough filing, filed off all my natural nail underneath! I have small cuts on two fingers & polish is uneven. Some nails are fine but some are thick & look bumpy at the tips because of excess polish. And I'm sorry, but I just don't appreciate being told they prefer cash when I have my card. I've done both, but money is money. Come on.

I love this place! The people are wonderful. I would Recommend Star Nails and Spa in every one.

Had an overall good experience. Staff was very friendly and listened to what I wanted done, paying close attention to detail on my nails (I got a full set of acrylic with dip powder over top)

Took over an hour for a simple fill. The man doing my nails repeatedly filed the skin around my nails (even when I politely told him so). My nails are uneven and very thick/uneven. I have cuts from filing on almost every finger. I found it hard to even pay for such a poor manicure.

Worst acrylic nail set I've ever got! Way too thick, uneven, and the shape was different with every nail. Had to go pay someone else to fix them. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Walked in this morning and asked how long I would have to wait for a fill, they told me 10 minutes. I said I’d be right back and had time to drive to Starbucks, order food and coffee, drive back, and then waited *another* 20 minutes after picking my color, all the while no one helped or addressed me at all. If I could give 0 stars I would. Awful.

Not a pleasant experience. Woman who did my nails was very rough and actually hurt me. I now have two sores on a finger. Not a sanitary place at all.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! IF YOU WANT A SANITARY AND PAIN FREE NAIL EXPERIENCE THIS IS NOT THE SALON FOR YOU.

1) The woman that did my nails was extremely rough. I have had pedicures before, but none that I remember quiet like this. She over cut my cuticle and caused me to bleed. It was close enough to my nail that she placed nail polish (clear coat and primer) over my cut, causing even more pain after I had initially told her that she had hurt me. Not very attentive.
2) Not very clean. I've been at nail salons where they thoroughly clean the foot tub after every pedicure with bleach/other cleaning agents (or have clear replaceable covers over the tub). After completing my pedicure (and another woman's on a separate chair) I saw that they only rinsed it down gently with water before placing a new person in the tub! My sister next to me noted that the water was very murky before getting started. Absolutely disgusting.
3) Unprofessional, lack of discretion, and rude. I had just finished moving cross country and had the chance to shave my legs a couple of days before, with minimal stubble on my legs. The woman doing my nails had suggested that they were 'very hairy'. Quiet rude, I have been at other nail salons where minimal hair leg stubble had not been an issue. She roughly grabbed my leg, while I saw that she asked other customers to place their leg in certain positions and places. That same gentleness was not used on me. We sat down after near the entrance (as instructed) to let them dry, the woman came up to us with minimal direction and ripped the toe separators off our nails, suggesting that they were dry and that we were ready to leave. THEY were NOT.

They were friendly, clean, and the Pedicure chairs are very comfortable! My nails look fantastic! The pedicure was amazing! They go the extra mile! Highly recommend this place.

This place is amazing! I've tried other nail salon, but none compare the the quality of work and the quality of the staff here. And the eyebrow waxing is top notch also.

Corvallis Star Nails always does a great main and pedi. They offer regular polish, gel, dips and acrylics. They also do brows. I am always happy with the service I receive.
