16Don't order stake and eggs.the stake was a ball of meat of some sort.not what I ordered.potatoes cubes overdone and dry.eggs overdone.loved the coffee but was never offered a refill.looked like a picture of Charles Manson on the wall.
Cozy and warm atmosphere. Homemade and delicious breakfast with awesome service! Can’t wait to go back tomorrow morning:)
The food here is made with love. The atmosphere is a cozy cottage. Our server Laura S is fun and interesting. I would highly recommend coming here. The bacon cheesy grits and the yams are out of this world. The spicy chicken and green salad are out of this world.
The best breakfast I've had in a long time. We had the smash burger, the best burger our kids have ever had. French toast bananas foster was amazing. The steak and eggs were cooked to perfection. The most unexpected was the sweet potato fries with the balsamic glaze and blue cheese crumble, it was wonderful. Our server Nick was attentive and treated us as though we were regulars. I will definitely be coming back any time I'm in town.
My, my, my-what a hidden gem. I did not know you could truly find homemade grits like you're eating in the south. I didn't even need to use my napkin because every bite was not wasted.
Worth the stop. Everything is homemade, and you taste it in every bite. Stop and enjoy. Oh, I almost forgot about the delicious hot sauce.
I ordered breakfast and it was just ok. Better options every where else.
It took 30 minutes to be seated and 60+ minutes to get food. I would definitely not eat there again. I had to ask for silverware, coffee, sugar, and then ask for fresh coffee because it was old
I’ve been here twice now. Both time I’ve been pretty underwhelmed. It is a cute place and I will probably go back, but ultimately I have yet to have an experience with the food that makes me think, “this is tasty! ” Or “wow, delicious. ” On the other hand, I haven’t had a bad meal here either. So it gets a solid 3 stars.
Potatoes were cold, and portions were tiny. My toast was 3"x2". Also, why are you charging $4 extra for vegetarian protein options with an entre when the proteins cost the same amount a la carte? This isn't 2003. Scammy.
This place is amazing! It's quaint so get there early but the food is worth it. There is a fire pit out back while you wait so bundle up in the winter. The service was quick once you get seated and the staff was really friendly.
Great breakfast, service and atmosphere! Highly recommend it. Fantastic homemade hot sauces that compliment many of the homemade items.
Been here several times and have had several items from the menu.
Never disappointed. Food is always excellent and service is great.
Breakfast, brunch, lunch. Closes in the afternoon
Vegetarian biscuits and gravy were insanely good. Everything was fresh and flavourful. Waitress apologized for there being one chef, but there was no need - we had a big table and the food was quick for so many obviously homemade meals.
Fantastic. It has been years since we last ate here and I’m honestly a little disappointed in myself. Years ago things tasted like they were made without love or passion. Not the case any longer. Shrimp and grits were the best I’ve ever had. Forget those high end trendy restaurants in Portland, this dish is a true gem. Perfectly balanced flavors that blossomed and crescendoed into something truly magical. Do not miss on the country fried steak either. When so many other places decide to use some premade frozen ‘steak patties’ they clearly make it from scratch. Fantastic gravy and accompanying toppings made this meal a real standout. Basically if you’ve eaten here years ago and weren’t impressed, give them another shot. We are very excited to have an outstanding breakfast option in Sisters.
Came in on a Sunday, late morning. It appeared about 2/3 of the restaurant was full. It there was one family ahead of us. There were three employees visible. We all were completely ignored by 2 of them. The 3rd was eating in the back but in plain view. When she was done, she came out and talked to both them and us. She sat the first party, telling us it would be just a few seconds while she cleaned a table, then she said ten seconds, then a few minutes, then five minutes. We went outside to wait because there was nowhere to wait inside. We waited almost 20 minutes. No one ever came to get us and we left. Clearly they don't want the business. Will not be back.
Highly impressed with the quality of their food. We got lucky with being the only person here but I have seen lines out the door for their food and raves about them. Cottonwood Cafe is a great place but plan accordingly for long waits but well worth it!
