Cottonwood Road Homestead reviews
5Definitely a cool stop to make while passing through. Be careful inside as it is falling apart quite a bit and parts of the floor is missing in some places. While it is unfortunate that people have vandalized it, in my personal opinion the graffiti is fun to look at and people have made some cool artwork inside.
Graffiti everywhere, But such a cool old homestead. The bones are still good! A restoration project could be amazing!
This is always a fun place to stop and checkout with (with kids or adults) there are nails so watch where you step.
It is a very cool stop. You really reflect on what was going in the building & all the miles of solitude surrounding the structure. I was interested in what the large concrete bunker, off to the side was used for.
The whole house is covered in graffiti, and some of it is vulgar. There are large piles of mud or feces all over inside, too. It doesn't smell bad, though. The floors are all ripped up with rusty nails exposed everywhere, especially on the side of the house. Not safe for children.
