We Purchased a new CX90 mazda on 6-3-2023. From the paperwork having to be done twice because our agreed internet Discount was not subtracted from the cost of the vehicle along with having to remind the sales person that he agreed to supply us with the chip for the GPS which they did not have. I made sure that the chip was listed on our receipt and to this date 6-19-2023 we still don't have an ETA of when it will be shipped. So I received a email from the Sr. Dealership Specialist this afternoon 6-19 saying she is processing our DMV work and wants to know why there's a additional $40.00 charged was for? The money was for the Oregon whale plates which we chose when we did our paperwork on 6-3-2023.
I don't know what to say!

I was impressed with Tanner at Crater Lake Mazda before I even met him. I'm from Northern California and was looking for a specific, hard to find Mazda. Tanner emailed me a video introducing himself and giving me virtual tours of vehicles. When I did meet him face to face he was so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He is a pleasure to work with!

A lot of work went in to making it to the early morning appointment after a 90 minute drive there was not appointment on the books, was able to be diagnose anyway which was good. It took half my day and eventually dropped of at the mall per their suggestion but it wasn’t actually open, worked out okay but both times I was promised a text message by a certain time it did not arrive maybe texting is broken? So I paid a lot of money for a part to be ordered and I still have not gotten a text or call about scheduling as promised. It’s a huge hassle to get there and quite expensive and so far I have nothing to show for my my time, energy and expense.

I travelled to Medford to buy a 2023 Mazda CX5 last week. From the initial phone call, through the coordination with parts and service for add-ons, to the sale of the car, I dealt with Jesse Gomez. He was beyond helpful and made the experience so positive and easy. All my questions were answered immediately; he contacted me as details of the purchase were progressing; the car was not only ready when promised but he also delivered it to where I was staying. The entire crew at Crater Lake Ford and Mazda get a big thank you from me.

I have done business with Crater Lake Mazda, and Crater Lake Ford for many, many years. I find them to be honest, professional, helpful, friendly, and people I can trust. Travis Cooke was my last salesman just recently, and he was very friendly, helpful, honest with me, and made the whole experience very easy. I will not go anywhere else. They have my business exclusively now, and in the future. 10 stars in my book. Oh, I just bought a 2023 Mazda CX-5 and I absolutely love it! Thank you Travis and a shout out to Nathan for greeting me and getting me started in the right direction!

James and Tanner made purchasing a car enjoyable and stress-free. Both demonstrated high levels of integrity and honesty, which was incredibly refreshing to experience at a car dealership. Additionally, I received a fantastic deal on my new car, which I appreciated.

My understanding is that the dealership has new leadership that values honesty and transparency, and my experience with Tanner and James supported both of those goals. One example - James had offered $500 off the price of the car to "sweeten the deal" when I was considering whether I wanted to buy or not, and later, when I pulled up the dealership's website and showed that the car had (mistakenly) been listed on sale at $1950 below MSRP, he honored the website price AND reduced the price the additional $500 that he had offered. He also gave me fair Kelly Blue Book value for my trade-in instead of trying to increase the dealership's profit by low-balling my trade-in.

James was friendly and efficient. I told him what I wanted in a deal and he made it happen. Tanner was truly one of the most personable people I have ever met - he delivered the car and was incredibly helpful with finishing the sale after James had to leave for military duty. Tanner made it clear to me that I am welcome to reach out if I have any questions or concerns regarding my purchase - the service does not end simply because the deal is completed - and he has been friendly and provided answers for my questions the two times I have contacted him since buying the car, so he, too, demonstrates honesty and integrity.

I know that, in the past, Crater Lake Mazda had a fairly lousy reputation (which was a fair assessment), but positive changes have clearly been made, and the current owner and staff should not be judged by the past misdeeds of their predecessors. I wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend the dealership to others and encourage you to give Crater Lake Mazda a chance to earn your business and trust if you are looking to buy a car.

I bought my Mazda 3 brand new from Crater Lake Ford Mazda a couple years ago. I had oil changes included with the purchase so every few months I take the car in to get this done, and then pick it up that evening. This month I got a call the morning of my appointment- they have started a new service- a car valet to come get my car, leave me a loaner, and then return my car after the service is done. Would I be interested? Ah heck yea! The valet, Dan Hickey was great. He texted when he was on his way, called when he was at my house. The service manager, Phil Houghton called when the service was done and let me know Dan would be back with my car soon. All this convenience at no charge! I am even more impressed with Crater Lake Ford Mazda and their excellent service.

Was Looking for the right CX50 all over the state. Spoke to my good friend Tanner at Crater Lake Mazda on Friday afternoon and was driving my new CX50 on Sunday afternoon. Did I mention I wasn't even in Medford? He handled everything over the phone very professionally and they even brought the car all the way across the state to me with no extra fee!
Tanner and the gang did a great job and I would strongly recommend shopping with him when you hit the lot.

James and Jessie were very helpful. I was already a Mazda owner but the dealership that I used before closed so I reached out to Crater Lake Mazda. They made it very easy to get into a new Mazda, explained all the new features and styles. James was also our finance person so it was a much quicker experience then we have had in the past. I highly recommend them.

Thank you James and Lanesha for making my car buying experience as painless as can be! You were both very helpful and accommodating.
I live in Klamath Falls and was unable to make it to the dealership to test drive the car that I was interested in. Crater Lake Mazda was gracious enough to drive the car to me -FREE OF CHARGE Of course it was love at first sight and the rest is history!

Medford Carter lake Mazda. Tanner Newcombe was amazing at helping us get into a brand new 2023 Mazda 3. I highly suggest going to him when looking for a new car. Very respectful and knowledgeable along with being very helpful. I didn’t think it was possible to get a new car as my credit wasn’t the best. Mazda took care of me.

The salesman, Travis, was very nice, knowledgeable about the cars, and not too pushy. I had a great experience at Crater Lake Mazda. They made the whole experience very pleasant, easy, kept me in the loop of everything, and even delivered my car to Klamath Falls!

We recently had our 04 mazda rx8 taken in and we got it back with a bunch of codes on from the recalls they were supposed to fix and the window has a crack it didn’t have before, the transmission light is also on but it’s not popping up codes, it was not on before we brought it in, we tried to call 4 different people to Atleast see if they could fix their mistake in the car and we got no calls back or anything.

CAUTION!

Read the reviews folks. Especially if you want to get your vehicle serviced here…

I’ve tried for days trying to get ahold of someone on the phone to get a service quote. After literally going through their hold process about 50 times someone in sales answered only to quickly transfer me to service where again I was in a loop of no one answering. I've left many messages with no return calls. I would definitely not recommend these folks if you care about service. I'm sure they're more than willing to sell you something if you're wanting to buy a Mazda. Just don't expect to get it serviced in a timely fashion.

…Fast forward a week, after physically stopping into the dealership as well. I’m still somehow waiting. If anyone else could offer the fix I need I’d do it in a heartbeat. These guys are incredibly unprofessional and unresponsive.

Been trying to find and purchase a Mazda 3 for about 4 months and can't seem to find a new one anywhere in oregon. Once one came available, they valued my trade in 4k lower than every other dealership in oregon and wouldn't budge a dime, creating negative equity for me. While trying to negotiate cash down and value trade in, they sold the car from under me to another customer.
