I cannot stress enough how utterly disappointing our experience with Crown Memorial in Tualatin, Oregon, has been. Instead of offering the solace and support we desperately needed during our time of loss, our interactions with them, particularly with our funeral director, Ben, have left us deeply disheartened and infuriated.

Our primary grievance centers on their appalling lack of professionalism. Staff members openly discussed business matters, even going so far as to talk about the need to order extra mementos due to selling out, all within earshot of grieving families. This level of disregard for the solemnity of the moment was not only unprofessional but also downright disrespectful.

The most infuriating part of our experience was the promise they failed to keep. Ben assured us that a proof of the inscription we desired for my Dad's urn would be promptly emailed to us for verification before it was inscribed. However, after waiting for days with no communication, we reached out to them, only to be told that they had somehow lost the "sticky note" with our request and contact information. They promised to send it immediately but once again failed to follow through. Our attempts to contact them again were met with infuriating silence, forcing us to resort to contacting another location, which yielded no better results. This ongoing ordeal to obtain a basic proof for the urn inscription stretched on for over a week, causing unnecessary stress during an already challenging period.

Our experience with Crown Memorial, particularly through Ben, has been disgracefully subpar. Their abysmal level of professionalism, evident lack of attention to detail, and pitiful communication skills have tarnished what should have been a supportive experience during our time of mourning.

We can only hope that Crown Memorial takes substantial steps to improve their services in the future. However, based on our experience, we unequivocally and adamantly discourage anyone from using their services. We sincerely hope that no other grieving family has to endure such a frustrating, infuriating, and disheartening ordeal when seeking solace and closure. Avoid their services at all costs.

They were very professional and friendly at the same time. The medical examiner messed up the death certificate for my husband, so Lisa did a great job of following up on it and making sure I got the correct certificates as soon as possible.

Crown Cremation has been outstanding to work with. They have been very clear and consistent in their communication and have treated our family in a professional manner while also being very kind. I can also say this was consistent with all of their staff because I talked and emailed with several different individuals. They just took care of everything, followed through without us needing to prompt or remind them of anything. They were just great-I highly recommend Crown.

A woman by the name "Rebecca" made our experience very concerning. We asked for her information (Business card due to facility guidelines) she got very angry, it was a huge inconvenience and yelled at staff in front of the deceased resident. This is not appropriate for end of life care. She caused a negitive experience. She should not be working in this industry.

Our July 2023 experience with Crown Services in Tualatin could not have been better. They came timely and most respectfully to our home to take our family member, completed and submitted the death certificate information promptly and accurately, and handled the remains exactly as we wished. Within nine days, our business was complete and death certificates were in hand.

You been very helpful, and showed great concern for my well-being for that I greatly appreciate it. I soon as I have everything taken care of, and save up a little money I will be making my own arrangement with you. Thank you for everything.

Each person I dealt with, through a very difficult process, was kind and supportive at the loss of our loved one. I recommend Crown in Tualatin, Oregon.

Estelle and all the other ladies that I dealt with were so kind and compassionate when I had to inquire and have services set up for the untimely death of my brother.
They explained things thoroughly and continued to check in to see if I and siblings were doing okay.
We as siblings came to Crown for our mother in 2021, same kind of respect and care was recieved then.

Truly awful. Started cremation process in person on March 14th. As of May 5th Crown still hadn't sent Death Certificate to county. Many phone calls up to then. During this time of personal grief having to deal with no call backs, no phone pickups, and conflicting information and broken promises is unconscionable. I'm still waiting with unfinished business because I need the certificate. One star is too generous.

Terrible experience from the beginning! Two weeks since my husband passed still don't have his ashes home! Couldn't figure out who was supposed to sign the death certificate! Keep in mind I'm the one who had to call the hospital figure out who signs the death certificate and get that going. No call backs.bunch of excuses! Read the reviews I wish I had!

When my mother passed her hospice service referred me to Crown Memorial and the folks there carried out my wishes with attention to detail and any concerns I had. They have continued to reach out with offers of support if needed. All for a very reasonable cost.

The fact that this company is in business is surprising. The level of customer service is appalling and the fact that it takes them weeks to acknowledge receipt of a deceased individual and weeks to provide death certificates is unacceptable. Take your business elsewhere

I have had a terrible experience with this place from day one. In the beginning they couldn’t even locate his body! Then, no one bothered to let us know he had finally been cremated and it took ME CALLING to find this out! This is the first time my family has had to make arrangements following the death of a loved one. It is a stressful, sad and confusing time. I have had to make 99% of the phone calls and communication with this place. My loved one died last year on 6/15/2022, and as of today we still have not received the death certificate. We had children together and we need the closure that this would provide. We want to know what exactly caused his death and the not knowing just adds to the pain. I called once again last week after hearing nothing and no updates for weeks. I was literally PROMISED the death certificate by this week. As of today, we still haven’t received it and no one has followed up. It’s really terrible customer service and I do not recommend this place. I would have rather paid more money up front and been given much better service. No family going through grief should have to work this hard or make this many attempts to get the right treatment. You really need to do better.
