Culligan reviews
8 UPDATE: Don't let the manager's response fool you - I left him a voicemail and he never did call me back. Clearly the lack of customer service starts at the top and trickles down.
If I could give ZERO stars I would. We have received the WORST service ever since Culligan bought Koldkist. We have placed order after order only for the orders to be lost. They always have an excuse. Or you leave a message and nobody calls back. We get automated calls for delivery dates that never happen. And the prices have skyrocketed. Can't switch to Sierra Springs fast enough.
Almost 3 weeks since water was to be delivered. Not ONE call or email from Culligan apologizing or giving me an update. I call and get lip service and NOTHING happens. Worse customer service I have seen in 10 years and I deal with a lot of vendors
Wow, the other poor reviews are exactly the same complaints I have. It was excellent when I had Koldkist, but Culligan took over and it has been awful since. I have to call and call to get hold of anyone and it has taken three weeks waiting for water several times or I don't get it at all. I am done with the excuses - I quit! I decided to give it a try and order water through the website of that huge local membership warehouse that starts with a C and ends with an o (you know the one and yes, they contract out water delivery, look under the services tab on the website). I had jugs of water on my porch this afternoon - seriously, I ordered service on 11/6 and have water on 11/8! The cost is 33% less than Culligan and I got texts updating me the day before delivery and at delivery. Bye forever, Culligan, you stink.
Great service when they were still Koldkist. Nothing but problems since Culligan took over. Every order, I have to make multiple calls to get delivery for my business. It’s been 2 weeks since my first call for delivery this cycle (I’ve made 2 more calls since then), and I have yet to be scheduled for a delivery. I’ve called other offices in my firm, and they are experiencing the same problem. Terrible service.
Absolute worst service ever. Water NEVER delivered on time. When calling into customer service either no answer or redirected from person to person with ridiculous excuses. Never got eater for 2 months straight. Delivery guys calling my personal number to verify deliveries then not deliver. I just cancelled my service. Avoid at all costs. The lady today told me they have 2 delivery drivers total and she has over 400 phone calls of complaints to follow up on.
Beware of this franchise owned Culligan. I was initially happy with the installation but I paid for a service plan in advance and this company does not deliver on the terms of this plan. Never came to inspect (per the terms of the agreement) the unit until I called because I was concerned it wasn't working properly. This should have been a warranty call since the system was only 9 months old at the time. Never delivered salt or checked to see if I needed salt. I called the office and requested a refund of the money I paid for the service I wasn't given and was told they would have to talk to the GM. I should add the female I spoke to said the reason no one had ever contacted me for service was because they didn't have anyone in the position. Crickets after that call. Additionally, I was informed by a home inspector doing my builder warranty service that they never insulated the water lines at installation. In a cold climate, this should be included or a price should be given at time of install. They are violating plumbing code.
Today after calling Culligan Corporate to complain, I was notified by the franchise GM and this unpleasant man schooled me on how I received what I paid for when I called them and initiated a service call because I thought the system was clogged. This system was under warranty. But hey. I had an extra $200-$300 to piss into the wind for a bogus service contract.
Caveat emptor. Go elsewhere. This franchise is crooked. BBB complaint next on my agenda and then any other review site I find them listed on.
We have been receiving water at our place of business for years. Originally was Koldkist water that was bought out by Culligan. We haven't had a water delivery in 4 weeks now and rely on distilled water to operate our practice and keep things sterile. Deliveries just stopped coming without any warning and each time we called to see when our next delivery would be scheduled we were told "We are not sure and will have someone give you a call when we can get you back on the schedule. " Here we are after 4 weeks and were just told that the Portland location has closed due to a staff shortage. Guess we'll be moving on and finding another service to deliver our water.: (
