Cup & Cone Ice Cream and Boba, Portland OR

Not very impressed with the drinks here. You can't change the sweetness. I wanted my daughter's drink with no ice but the employee said we can't do drinks without ice so we choose light ice (which I didn't like) both ube/taro milk tea & mango smoothie were so thin & watered down & not very tasty. Mango jasmine tea was ok. We did try the sample pan ice cream & mango pistachio & were delicious.

As a previous poster wrote- your days/hours are not accurate and frustrating.the other reviewer wrote months ago employee told to look social media to know updated accurate hours/days. I did check your Instagram and Facebook pages and on both the latest info says you're open on M/Tu. I got there yesterday to see the sign in your window states you're closed M/Tu!

Cup & Cones Strawberry milk tea + all natural honey boba is a game changer! My family, who loves all things “boba” has now found our favorite shop! Such a delicious flavor the Boba has, and with zero extra additives! I really enjoyed how it tasted, and since it was made fresh, it was a little warm, which made such a fun flavor and sensational experience on my taste buds! So good

I discovered Cup & Cone on a trip to Portland awhile back and now whenever I’m in town I make a special trip. Love the unique flavors of ice cream and boba tea!

I was really looking forward to trying this place because I'm a bit of a boba fanatic and it has such good reviews. Sadly it's not great.

Boba: the tapioca pearls have nice flavor but the texture is much too soft and mushy for me.
The main issue though is the flavor-the chai was really weird tasting and astringent and the milk tea was a bit watery. Both were ridiculously sweet- I totally forgot to ask for reduced sweetness like I do at most boba places, but they didn't mention sweetness levels on the menu so I'm not sure it is even an option.

Ice cream: I got the donut sandwich. The ice cream was very nice and creamy but the donut itself was terrible. Really dry, stale, and flavorless. Not happy that I paid $7 for a bad donut and like a quarter cup of ice cream.

Run, don’t walk, to Cup & Cone PDX…and grab as much Nutella ice cream as you can. Then wash it down with a strawberry rose tea with boba. And then do it all over again, but this time with vegan monsoon mango ice cream and earl gray lavender tea with boba. My only critique? Too may good options to choose from. I wish I had a second stomach to eat it all. Love this place!

We were visiting from Denver and wanted some delicious, small batch ice cream. We discovered this shop after reading reviews and it did not disappoint. The flavors are unique and the ice cream is SO creamy - very similar to European artisan ice cream. I love there are no artificial ingredients, as it’s rare to find, but WOW it makes such a difference. Also they freshly brew their teas which is rare but really refreshingly good. No aftertaste! Their service is stellar and the associates are super kind, making this an all-around excellent stop for ice cream and boba. Highly recommend!

I was excited to try their honey lavender ice cream. I got very disappointed as it barely tasted like honey lavender. I could taste a little bit of lavender and no honey. The cake batter ice cream is way too sweet. I also got the strawberry milk bubble tea and it didn’t have a strong flavor, it was a very weak strawberry taste. The boba didn’t have any flavor to them at all. If you want honey lavender ice cream I would prefer to go to Salt & Straw, because their honey lavender is perfect! For bubble tea I’m staying with Happy Lemon. The prices here at Cup & Cone are way too pricey and very small scoops too. You’re not getting what you pay for imo.

Super friendly staff and unbelievably delicious ice creams and boba! Will definitely be back next time I'm in the Portland area.

Frustrating your main Google profile hours aren't accurate. I showed up with kids in tow for a treat based on what I saw on Google. I get there to find out you're already closed and to be told by an employee closing the shop I should check social media postings instead of Google for accurate seasonal hours.we went home empty handed.

Tried their Rose flavour loved it so so much, so came here for the second time and they are sold out. Tried their Honey Lavendar surprisingly this is really goooood! One of the best Icecreams I ever had

I had an ice cream AND a Boba, and I have to say the boba was the best I've ever had. It didn't have the weird chemical taste that some bobas sometimes have. I loved the Passionfruit Honey so much that I bought a bag of boba to make at home. The staff is super friendly and the ice cream flavors are creative and taste out of this world.

One of my favorites! I finally checked this place out and I’m so glad I did. I was able to try a bunch of flavors and then got a pint to take home. Excellent customer service and excellent ice cream! I highly recommend this spot!

Great place to get ice cream on a warm day and they have boba that they serve too. Pleasant host to get and prepare your order.

The ice cream here is so good! I had the grilled freeze with brownie ice cream and it was absolutely delicious! I recommend getting the taro, birthday cake, and salted caramel flavor ice cream.

I love Cup and Cone, they are one of the only ice cream shops that has ice cream that doesn't upset my stomach. Not to mention their boba tea is out of this world and is my new favorite drink especially the Tiger Sugar Milk Boba. The staff is always fun to chat with and polite. It's always exciting to see what kind of diverse flavors of the month they will have. They really go above and beyond to feature and include flavors from around the world and different cultures. If you haven't experienced this little ice cream shop than you are missing out and denying your taste buds the best flavors of their life.
