Absolutely the best experience ever! My family drove 2 hours to visit the salon for my son’s (1 & 4) first haircuts. From the greeting walking in to the bye walking out 10/10! I’ve worked in the beauty/salon industry for 20 years & I’ve never seen first haircuts go the way ours did yesterday! While they got their cuts my 3 year old daughter played in the cutest waiting area & was entertained the entire time. Thank you so much ladies! Even tho I wanted to cry my eyes out seeing my babies turn into kids right before my eyes I’m so thankful so such a great experience! Rebooked & forever will be coming back!

My son got his first haircut here. Not only where they easy going with a 9 month old being a 9 month old but the hairdresser (Anika) worked with his constant moving and grabbing items. He was able to get a great haircut and have a good time. So excited to find such a great place for kids to get a haircut.

Trinidy was so great with my son’s first haircut, very patient and fast! She did a wonderful job and the other staff were also very friendly and welcoming!

Amazing service! My son doesn’t sit still to save his life and they got his hair cut nice! And my daughter went for her bday and got a haircut and she had cut her own hair and they were able to get the cutest cut to make her hair even again and gave her the full spa treatment

We had a fantastic first haircut experience. The staff was kind, the facility was clean and calming, and the haircut was amazing (especially for a squirmy 18 month old). We will be back.

We have brought my son here 3 times now and each time we have absolutely loved our experience! Trinidy made his first haircut so easy and fun. She really understands exactly what you want, how to make your kids feel comfortable, and turn it into an experience kids will want to come back for! We keep going back because we trust her and my son always has the best time getting his hair cut. So thankful to have such an amazing hair salon for kids so close to home.

My very active 2 year old grandsons hair looks great and he had a good time! He was kept distracted and even received a prize after his appointment. Really nice area for kids to play in too.

We hosted our daughter's sixth birthday at Curious Curls and we couldn't be happier. It was so perfect for her and her friends. The entire set up was darling and the girls had a blast. Karissa the owner was a delight to deal with and answered all of my questions leading up to the party. Our daughter has already said she wants the "exact same party" for her 7th birthday.

This was our second time at this salon and both visits were wonderful experiences! My daughter (3.5 yea old) was really excited about her haircut today because they did such a great job with her first one and made her feel so comfortable. They’re all very friendly and the space is lovely too. My daughter loves the little playhouse area! I also really appreciate the inclusivity evident in their business practices. Love Curious Curls!

My 5 year old was nervous for her first haircut, but Anika, her stylist, was very warm and friendly. My little one left with a fabulous cut and an Easter goody bag. I scheduled her next trim right after her appointment was done, and will likely be booking for my younger daughter as well. Highly recommend!

Anika here was seriously THE MOST AMAZING person for my daughters first haircut. She is sooo patient and amazing with kiddos, and did such an amazing job on the haircut itself.it was seriously the most perfect experience. I would recommend this salon for kids haircut without hesitation!

Curious curls is such a gift to the Salem community. The facility is super clean, staff are welcoming, and well trained.

They are wonderful with kids, and have all the necessary equipment to keep littles entertained before, during, and after appointments. If you’re looking for the perfect place to take your kids for hair care—look no further! Your little is bound to have a positive experience. They also offer the cutest spa day birthday package for kids, definitely worth looking into.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I was so nervous finding a place to take my daughter for her first trim. We wanted to do something special for her birthday when I stumbled upon this place. I was soooo pleastly pleased! Everything was wonderful and they really made my daughters birthday a remarkable experience, and they sent her home with an amazing goodie bag! The staff was kind and helpful, and the location is clean and cute! 10/10 will be coming back! Thank you all!

These ladies are amazing with kids! My 17mo old and 2.5yr old sons threw the biggest fits and they were so patient with them (and me) the whole time. Plus did an amazing job on the cut! Highly recommend:)

I would like to first say this place exceeded my expectations. When I thought of a kids salon yes I thought the stylist would be extra patient and kind, but I feel Trinidy went above and beyond. She’s so sweet she makes sure your child feels welcome, safe, secure and happy. The CAR chairs were fun the tablet helped and a lollipop kept my son distracted to do his taper it worked wonders! This was my sons FIRST ever haircut (he’s 16months) and Trinidy was very patient with me and my decisions. She knew exactly what I wanted and made me feel comfortable as well. First time mom here and I was stressed. I got the keepsake chain, the picture and the certificate for it being his first time and let’s just say I was emotional in the car! I have already recommended Curious curls to 4 ppl and he barely got his cut today!

My 3 year old son has Autism with a Severe sensory disorder. He has never sat through a haircut and always screams and cries UNTIL today! This place is absolutely wonderful. Anika was so Wonderful and patient. My son didn't cry one time. They even gave him bubbles and a lollipop when he was all done and let him stay and play until he was ready to go. I highly recommend them to anyone who has trouble with autism and sensory problems or just need someone who knows how to treat a scared child. Thank you so much for squeezing him into your busy schedule before his upcoming already scary and important doctor appointment and making at least this step not so bad.

Went there for my son’s 1st hair cut. My son is a wiggly dude and had to sit on my lap and Trinidy was so flexible and patient moving around him and I, where she was able to get a nice even cut. She’s wonderful and we will definitely be back.
