5This is a great place to take a quick break, and if you have pets, it's got plenty of room for them to run and play. It seems to always have clean restrooms. And a swing set for the kids, or adults.
I was very serene, peaceful and a little tiny creek on the back side of it. You could hear the bullfrogs in the background. I liked it there a lot.
Stayed twice in this beautiful park on the way to Mt. Bachelor and back to Montana. Occasional noises from exhaust brakes at night didn't bother us. Glad to know that they have portable water (during the season).
Quiet, clean, and shady spot to take a break from driving and walk your dog. Hidden Little Gem.
What an out of the way little park that made me spend an hour there looking at all the info. Kiosks about its history, the family it’s named after, the old fashioned swing set and the grove of Aspen trees that made me pull in!
