Chicken sandwich was definitely made with a frozen breaded 'chicken patty'. Clam chowder was gelatinous, tasteless, and floury. French fries were the most palatable food item.

Would not recommend.
Is the a 0 option?

Never had dined in the bar before but the restaurant appeared to be getting renovated. All I can say is we definitely recommend! We had the original long burger (Dea's classic since 1953) and a chili dog.

I like that it's a local mom and pop version of a fast food joint. The burgers are good. The menu is very basic. It has a drive through. I'm hoping they treat their staff better than the Wendy's across the street that was closed due to the labor shortage lmao.

So AWESOME! EVEN THOUGH THE corn dog we ordered (signature menu? !) was overcooked and burnt. Threw away half of it: (
But. The burger looked to be HANDMADE PATTIES
(long burger)
. They EVEN Made our Lab puppy (baby girl) happy with a Pattie (ordered extra)
. NOW EVERY CAR RIDE IS A POTENTIAL burger Pattie run ‍️
OH! DID MENTION.the fries are GOOD REHEATED!

An overpriced Burger (no sides or drink) for $9. You’re really better off going to Carl’s Jr.for a meal.

Juicy burgers on soft fresh homemade buns! The best battered and fried mushrooms anywhere.

Wow, the new owners took a long-time tradition in Gresham and did an awesome job on an interior 'face-lift'. The food (long burger) that we've all enjoyed over all these years hasn't lost any flavor. STILL outstanding. The service is fantastic as well, with a 'sincere' caring attitude. They really DO care about your enjoyment while there. Highly recommend Dea's!

I made a point to go this place always amazing food. My mom ordered fish and chips. Was disappointed in the portions. 12.50 and very little fries. Fish average, for the price expected more. Burger was great and mushrooms where great.

I get it, cost is everything right now for small businesses. For the price expected more.

Dea's is a institution, rarely get to visit currently but family used to go regularly in 70s and 80s, dropped in & dining room under construction, so are in the bar, bartender was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent although prices are up a bit, but that's the norm right now. I would recommend a visit, see what a old school restaurant does right.

Loved it. Great food
Hopefully they will be opening the restaurant for inside dinning soon, but great takeout and can eat in the bar.

Dea's Bar is actually open now and remodeled. They've added an outdoor area with nice seating and pretty spacious really. It's Clean and well lit. Not like the old Dea's. Much better.

Wasn't what it used to be. Don't know if quality meat or over cooked. Just wasn't what it used to be when I grew up in Gresham. No line in the drive thru either so something has gone towards the negative here at this place. The price is through the roof. Almost twenty bucks for bacon cheeseburger. Large fry and milkshake. I can go to a Shari's or Denny's or red Robin and get a better cheaper burger so might be why it's not what it used to be. Might, yes is and was the last time through that drive thru.been going through there since 1982. Good things don't last

Overpriced for a cheeseburger, fries and drink which must be purchased separately amounts to around $11-12.00. They don't have combo meal deals Buy a $1.00 drink at McD's.

The Longburgers are good as I remembered. Get yourself a Longburger, curly fries, and a cold drink. These are some of the best burgers in town.

Haven't eaten here since Gresham High (- go, Gophers! - not going to tell you how many decades that is). We decided a rough day had earned us a good burger, but the drive-through I landed in was closed, so in scanning my brainpan for a near to home option, I landed on Dea's and circled back. Great cheese longburgers we couldn't quite finish (Ebb and Meeko say thanks for that) and good fries and rings. New /old go-to.

Another Gresham tradition gone to heck. By now, with Covid restrictions easing up, it is clear that the new owners have no intention of returning to the formula that made this place a longtime area favorite. Gone is the old dining room - inside seating is at the bar only, which has been "remodeled" into a charmless, antiseptic space. Gone, too, is the wonderful breakfast service from 5: 30 AM to 11: 00 AM that once brought locals in by the droves, and must surely have been the most profitable meal for the restaurant. We've seen this kind of tragedy before: new owners take over and decide to "improve" an already-winning formula, only to ruin the establishment in the process. I give this "new" Dea's a year, at most, before it closes for good. To the new owners: shame on you for destroying a 70-year old Gresham icon.

Got double cheeseburger and mushrooms. Mushrooms were nice but the oil and ranch gave me an upset stomach, burgers were pretty basic tasting and the meat could use some seasoning. I'm not going to go out of my way to go back but I wouldn't complain if I was asked to go again.

So delicious! I got a burger that was absolutely perfect! Juicy, saucy (as I requested) and tasty! Robert is the best cook! Thanks! Will come back for sure!

It gets 3 strictly because the caliber of person working there. She was amazing. Somehow, my burnt deep fried mushrooms tasted like fish, and the burger was dry. The curly fries were tasty though. I'd suggest getting soda elsewhere. 3.25 for a large is steep after paying for two to go with meals. Would I go back? Depends on the day would be my guess. Service was super fast though which was epic.
