Denny's, Salem OR

Wait time was longer than expected but thats normal now with short staffing almost every where. Our waitress was very friendly, apologized for the long wait time and delay in getting our order out from the kitchen. Too many online orders and a full dining room. If you go on a weekend for breakfast expect to be there for a while, the staff does what they can with what they're having to work with. Please tip your servers:)

Brought my salad then steak 2 mins later then the bread 5 mind after that. Never asked me if I wanted anything to drink and never even refilled my water glass. The only reason I stayed and ate is because I was very hungry. This Dennys doesn't deserve to be called Dennys

We waited for over an hour for service because call in orders were given priority over in person guests. That was rude and disrespectful to in person guests. When we were finally given a chance to order everyone in our party had to change our orders because none of the food we requested was available. We went for dinner and ended up having to order breakfast items.
We were told it was because they had just returned to 24 hour service, but that should not make it impossible to serve customers in a timely and professional manner or be unable to fill orders.
We will not be eating at this location again.

Denny's is always there for me when I need it good food reliable could cost and the staff works extremely hard to be polite to some very nasty people. Sadly this one Thanksgiving I got home with my holiday dinner by the way which was great, but they forgot to give me my pecan pie. Partly my fault for not checking.

Olivia our server was great. Very friendly and sweet. This location was also well kept and clean. Would recommend for a quick breakfast spot.

The food was decent and the waiters were nice, but we were in there for a while because none of the waiters would come by and check on us. We spent thirty minutes after we finished our food waiting for our check before he had to ask for it.

I neverrrr leave bad reviews but this specific Dennys location has the WORST staff employed there. I'm a delivery driver and today I arrived picking up 3 meals, (place was packed) and being a server originally I understand how hectic the job can be so I tried being nice and asking about my orders, the one staff lady said I could wait in the pickup spot and she would bring it out to me when it was ready. Cut to waiting 15-20 minutes before I called inside and she snapped at me saying it wasn't ready yet, so I hang up and wait ANOTHER 10 minutes before I go inside and What do I See sitting behind the counter already cold? MY ORDERS!
I WILL NEVER pick up another delivery order from this Dennys location until they get staff that understands how important time is for drivers Having to wait 50 minutes for meals that were probably ready in 25 minutes is ridiculous

I'll give them a "1" for good food. Terrible service from the time was seated at the table. Table was dirty. Napkin to show some black as I did some of my own cleaning. Waitress was quick to hear one out of 3 of us and gone she was w/o making sure all of us were taking care of. I ordered 2 pancakes, hashbrowns, English muffins and she handed me one small round container to go. Kidding me? ! It only fit my pancakes. She was in such a hurry that she didn't even ask my friend if needed one. I got a coffee refill and again.didn't ask my friend if he also needed one.
Awful. I could careless to ever go back. The worst place.

We just visited the Market Street Salem location. Our service was excellent from the second we walked in the door. Brandon greeted us.he was busy the entire time we were there. He was pouring coffee, bussing and cleaning tables, cleaning floors. He didn't stop! Our server was Maria Esther, she was excellent as well right there with the food made sure things were fine. We were offered coffee refills several times. The food came exactly as we ordered it. Great team!

Good pancakes for sure. First one I tried forgot about me so I walked out.drove down 5 a bit further. Second one was good.

Really busy today but service was great and wait time for seats was about 5 minutes even with a full parking lot! Food was good too!

Very bad service! They make you wait more than 2 hours before you get your food and when the food finally served to our table it was cold down already cuz they hold it to much at the counter top, why people still going to that restaurant.absolutely bad service.

Loved the service. Quick and friendly. The Fit Slam was delicious and about a third of the calories of most slams. Dahlia was a great server. Spoke Spanish as well as English. We will return

Every server/host etc. On duty that morning was extremely friendly polite and helpful. I was impressed with the service it was over the top amazing they were awesome with my toddler granddaughter and so pleasant about cleaning up a big milkshake mess they were nearly excited lol seriously patient and pleasent I recommend dining there at least during brunch hours anyway.

The worst experience of my life. When there was sat and didn't get drinks until an hour after sitting there. Then we watch our server seat there family get them drinks finally after a hour and half got our food and was seriously the worst food ever. I also watched a cook go use the bathroom and go back to the kitchen without washing there's and go back to making food. And they were not busy only had three tables. Then told this to the manager and she rolled her eyes. But didn't charge us for the meals.

Waitress seemed confused when we asked about the free birthday meal. Told us they don't do it anymore, you don't get anything for your birthday.

We called the other Dennys in town and were told of course they have the free birthday meal still. So driving all the way to the other Dennys. Don't understand why one Dennys or at least their waitress is so uninformed on her own workplaces promotions.

The food was awful! Burger was so greasy the cheese slid off it and wasn't even melting. The chicken was over cooked. Onion rings under cooked. French fries undercooked. The busicuits where not all the way done! And the gravy tasted awful. Friend ordered a sandwich with roast beef I think and it came out in chunks with a large amount of fat still on the meat. Only thing good here was it was clean. Even the soda sucked.

I ordered a BLT (which is no longer on the menu) and was told I couldn’t get one because “it wasn’t in the computer”. First, I don’t understand why Denny’s has decided to remove such a popular item from their menu and second, they have all the ingredients to make one. Third, every other Denny’s I have been in, the wait person has said “sure, no problem ”. Not a happy customer. I would have made it one star except I normally enjoy eating at Denny’s and I felt sorry for the wait person.

It was dirty but it was late and the kids were hungry so we stayed service was horrible took are order we got our drinks about 20 minutes after that didn't bother to check on us until the server finally brought out our food 30 minutes later food was cold never got my toast that came with my meal never going there again if I was you I wouldn't waste my time or money if I could give them 0 stars I would
