Dental Expressions is the place to go if you need a dentist. The office is first class and all the dental rooms are beautifully decorated. Dr. Sheppard is an experienced and highly rated young dentist. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. I actually look forward to my visits to the dentist.

I've needed a lot of work done over the last year, and Dental Expressions has been amazing between both Dr. Morrison and now Dr. Sheppard. I've been to a lot of different dentists in my lifetime, and this has been one of the best by far. It's a smaller practice with a comforting feel, so it's great for those with dental anxiety. The staff is very kind and great at listening to any questions or concerns that you have.

I skipped going to dentist for about 25 years because I am terrified of them. As you might imagine this was not a wise decision and eventually caught up to me. I have been going to Dental Expressions for the last 2 years to clean this up, and it has involved some major procedures. I have found them to be professional, very competent, financially transparent, concerned about doing the right thing in the long run, and very sensitive to my personal paranoia about dentists. I would highly recommend them.

The office people and hygienist are very friendly and understanding. However, the dentist was so rude and incompetent. Every filling she did still hurts or has fallen out, and it has been 3 months now. My mouth doesn't even close all the way anymore because she overfilled one tooth so not all my teeth touch anymore. I am constantly biting my cheek now which I never used to do.

This was my initial visit and the staff and Doctor did a thorough check up. Dr. T recognised I was perhaps even overly interested in my dental health and explained the X-rays in detail. However I am sure for those that "Don't wanna know, " she will do whatever proceedure is necessary for a healthy outcome. Having a spouse that is a periodontist is a plus for the knowledge necessary for total care of your teeth, gums, and bone. Thus the 5 stars after just one visit.

It is always hard to find a new Dentist as good or better than your last! That is what we had to do a year ago when we moved to SW Portland. We are so glad we found Dental Expressions. They are so great here, both front and back office. They are very kind and full of good information. The office is very clean and well maintained. I had my first appointment today, during the CoVID crisis, and they could of not been more prepared. It was easy process and now I have my teeth health done for another 6 months. Thank you for being open and serving the public.
