Made an appointment by phone for a specific tire that was on hand. I was told they have the tires and the appointment is scheduled. When I arrived at the store for the appointment, I was told the tires are being delivered and they do not have the them on hand. The representative told me there was nothing he could do and tried to show me the computer with the order. When I told him that an appointment was scheduled and the tires were on hand when I scheduled it, he stated the tires were put on a different vehicle the day before. Did not apologize or try to come up with a different solution.

Good deals on tires and good service, wait time is twice as long as they say it’s going to be. I was told the appointment would only take an hour. I waited over an hour just for them to get my car in. I had other things planned that day that I then had to cancel. Plan for twice as long as they tell you.

The best deals on new tires in the entire Portland Metro, Low pressure sales (I have been to several other competitors who use predatory cross sales / upselling tactics) makes for a great experience in purchasing one of the most critical components of your vehicle. Tip: Buy Online and set up an appointment. Be prepared to wait! They're always swamped and their staff is hustling from the time they clock in to the time they clock out. Your patience results in a stress-free adventure.

If you don't currently own tires, never shopped for tires, nor ever bought tires before, then this is the store for you! Everyone guy here has tried to mansplain a part of the process to me. I didn't drive 13 mi away, passing 3 to 4 other locations to test the durability of fix a flat. They happened to be the only location with the tires I wanted in stock. I know it's a busy time of year with winter tire changes, but I didn't plan for a piece of glass to lodge itself in to one of my tires. Once I arrived, they advised me it would be a 3 hour wait! This is where the bad review ends.
The boys in the front welcomed me in, my car was done in 1.5 hours, they helped get my account number for the financing offer, and were all quite the gentlemen in person. Came back to change my review!

Can't express how wonderful the service my family received from this place. Oliver Widger was patient in listening to my situation, helpful in my decision making, and exceptionally kind and understanding. My son experienced the same when he brought the car in the next day to get the new tires installed and decided to go for the extended warranty option. Oliver did right by Discount Tire and is a keeper for sure!

Ordered the tired on their website and also scheduled my install appointment for that same week. I was in and out of there with new tires in less than an hour! I love when a businesses system works flawlessly! Great job!

Over the last 15 years we have bought at least 5 sets of tires for our vehicles from Discount Tire and every time they bring their A game to provide great customer service. Throughout those years, we have had few issues come up and every time Discount Tire not only makes the issue right but goes above and beyond in order to make a happy customer. Because of this type of customer service, we will continue to only buy tires them and recommend to others. The Sunnyside location has great customer service and is always willing to rotate our tires, change tires to our winter tires, and price match when we find the brand of tires we want for less. In my opinion, they definitely deserve a 5 star rating.

Great service. Even tho they were busy, made you feel you were the only customer there. Said about an hour wait- 25 minutes later done! Thank you Discount Tire!

I've been going to Discount Tire for more than 30 years. When I moved up to Oregon 5 years ago I had to find a new location. I went to Discount Tire here in Clackamas and spoke with David O'Donohue and was great to work with. He has been taking care of me and my family's cars. It's over a 30 minute drive for me to get here, I get the best service out there, I come to Discount Tire here in Clackamas off Sunnyside. Ask for David O'Donohue!

Was extremely busy when I went in with a flat tire. But they were able to get it fixed and get me on my way before I had to go to work.

Price matching, they will online search for old discontinued wheels for a match, hazard warranty even covers when you drive your 4x4 some place you shouldn't. The clackamas store is top notch. David was great!

I went to get my tire fixed, & the guy told me they discontinued my size tire and I needed to buy a whole new set? That didn’t sound right to me, so I went down the street to a different place and they replaced it no problem. Literally such a scam.

I just left Discount tire because of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I stood in front for 20 minutes while the workers talked back and forth while deep into their monitors. Not once did they welcome me in or even acknowledge my presence. Finally, another worker came in from the garage area. He got to his computer, typed in his log-in info, looked up and asked the man behind me who just got there if he could help him. Not one person offered to help me. I have all 4 tires on my mazda 3, my Audi a4, and my Dodge ram from this place. I will never go back, and you can thank Tanner and company for that.

Some "good". But too much "bad" to recommend. (see below)

The good:
The tires were a pretty good price (and in stock) and the people were nice.

The bad:
Work done here needs to be double checked.
1) Chasing weights - either the tire tech was having an off day or his or her training needs to be improved. See photo.a photo doesn't lie. Two of the five wheels exhibited this.
2) Internal communication needs improvement - Upon departure, the winter tire/wheels I had on when I arrived were deflated and two had the bead unseated. Two were missing valve cores. I caught one of the unseated beads before I left (they re-seated and refilled it upon request). But found the other and the missing cores when I got home. I had to go back to the store. There was no need to take them off the rims in the first place. They were apparently taken off to get the TPMS sensors.something I had explicitly stated *did not* exist. Internal communication breakdown on Discount Tire's part. Too many cooks in the kitchen.
3) Lift points were sketchy - please don't jack from the off-centerline shock mounts. No wood block used.sharp edges on jack left indentations on the lift points.
4) Lug bolt (yes bolt) torques - discrepancies in the Discount Tire system prescribed a torque that was too low. If you care about the lug nut/bolt torque, ask them what they tightened to and confirm this is correct.

The environment at this discount tire is casual. Music playing and workers with high spirits. This is absolutely fantastic. BUT, this must be accompanied by quality work and professionalism. Failure to do so means the customer must return to the shop (twice in my case).

Things were made right in the end (winter tires remounted and refilled and new tires were rebalanced) but you can't reimburse lost time.

My husband ordered tires and set up a appointment online. Went in two days later and was in and out in under a half hour.
