Discount Tire, Gresham OR

I have been going to Discount Tires consistently for tires over the years. They are always extremely efficient with their timing. I was in this morning for a rotation and wiper blade replacement. Jeremy was very polite and professional! I really appreciated it as I’ve often been different places for various things regarding my vehicle and am either spoken down to in a condescending manner or have sales pushed on me for things I don’t need likely because I’m a single female. I’ve never had the experience at the Gresham Discount Tire. So thank you, Jeremy!

I've been using them for years, always great service and prices. Only change would be to give you the amount of brakes left on your car. They already have the tires off! You could have one person skilled enough in that area to do so for free. Your competitor (not to name names) does.

I had a terrible experience on 1/9/23 and would never go back. I made an appointment three weeks ahead for the 9th. I was traveling back home from the Midwest and wanted my tires rotated. I called a couple of days ahead to confirm the time and they said I did not have an appointment. The guy said he would fit me in with an appointment at 10 am on the 9th. I traveled from Cannon Beach to Gresham. After checking in a man came out to measure my tires and said they had had trouble with their computer system when I mentioned the trouble I had with my appointment. He said my tires were at 7/32nd and did not need rotating. I was shocked and said they had not been rotated over 6,000 miles and I had. 2,000 trip home. We went back inside and he proceeded to try to sell me windshield wipers which shocked me because he didn’t even look at my wipers. When I said no he proceeded to tell me it would be at least two hour wait because I did not have an appointment. After I went to sit down he called a service advisor over and began berating him behind the glassed work area. They came back into the main area and the berating continued. They looked in my direction a couple of of times and I think he was getting chewed out that he had made the appointment for me a couple of days earlier when he could not find my original appointment I had scheduled. This made me very uncomfortable how this manager was treating his employee and how he had tried to talk me out of a tire rotation. If I had been the employee being chewed out in public like that, I would have said I quit. This horrified me and I got up, turned around and walked out. I would never go back there!

While I was on vacation, my mom cut a sidewall while driving my car. She brought it in to this Gresham location to have it replaced. The “mechanic” had zero attention to detail and replaced my flat snow tire with an all-season, bottom of the barrel tire. He even put the new all-season on the front of a front wheel drive car. What? Now, I’m stuck with 2 spare tires because of his mistake.forced to buy another winter tire. I tried to exchange the tire for a proper snow tire (per their “bring it back” policy) and the dude behind the counter treated me like I had 3 heads the second I started speaking. Awful customer service. I’ll stick to Les Schwab from now on. Don’t go here!

I mean this when I say it guys, I love this shop. Discount tire absolutely rules what they do, and no one else is like them. It's fantastic, and I won't go anywhere else.

Arrived 15 minutes early and they said they wouldn’t be able to do my “bolt on” service until 3: 00.1 -1/2 hour wait for a 15
Minute service. Extremely disappointing since I can do it myself in less time and I had family in town. Ended up paying full price and had to bolt them on myself at home. So so so disappointed in the service they are obviously overbooked and understaffed for the work they need to do.

Bought my winter tires and summer tires and wheels at DT and can say this will be the last. Made appointments last 2 times, winter to summer and this time summer to winter and the treated me terribly both times, and this time I didn't have the service because they overbooked. Hustle to make a sale not to maintain customer.

Went in and purchased 4 new rims, and 4 new tires. When we got our vehicle back, there was a soapy residue all over them. We just dropped $2k at your shop and you couldn't be bothered to wipe them down. Ridiculous.

I will say they are reasonable on price. But do to short staff or not enough outlets to serve its costumer base. Their service timing SUCKS. The reason I say this is, I just needed a nail pull and plugged. They told me that it was going to be 6 HOURS wait. Every time I just try to get my tires rotated with an appointment they still don’t get to my truck for over a hour after the appointment.
I’m just saying that they have become a big disappointment in my eyes.

Experienced getting stuck on freeway due to an accident & did not make it until 10 min after “scheduled” appointment BUT they still took care of changing my tires with only 35 min until closing time.
The young man who handed my keys was super sweet and informative. You can tell all these guys work really hard and they should be appreciated as it’s hard to come by great work ethic.

I’ll be moving soon so I’m sad I won’t be coming back but glad I went with this location for service.

This location was awesome! The front of the house staff was super friendly and their techs were just a friendly and fast. It is always a good sign when the employees are smiling and jamming out to music while working. Definitely coming back when I need tires and such.

They did a great job and quicker than expected installing new tires on our 68 Datsun that had been sitting the past 25 years

I did a walk in new tire purchase & installation. I was told it was going to take 3hrs so I went to the near by stores to pass time. 40min after I receive a notification that my vehicle was ready for pick up and mind you they said they were short handed. No complaints from me! Price was just what I was able to afford.

I’ve brought two vehicles to Discount Tires in the past month and have been very satisfied with the service, transparency, and efficiency of this location. I got new wheels and tires the first time, and they were willing to work with me on alternative solution that I’m very happy with when the ones I’ve ordered were out of stock. One minor complaint is that the tires weren’t fully balanced the first time but I was able to get the issue resolved at the Discount Tire in Clackamas. We had discovered that Les Schwab patched a nail near the sidewall on my wife’s Mazda CX-5 which could lead to a tire blowout at highway speeds a year earlier so we trusted bringing it to Discount Tire for a second opinion and to replace the tires on the vehicle. I always get the tire certificates because I firmly believe in the value they provide in the case of an emergency and I also really enjoy the transparency they have with the computer monitors facing the customer. Thanks Discount Tire, you’ve earned yourself a lifelong customer!

Phenomenal service and superior time to get new tires installed (20 minutes). When I drove home I could tell a huge difference from the tires I had on there before compared to what I have now. Plus they are the best tire shop if you're in the market to buy new tires price wise. Highly recommend. Thank you discount tire factory.

I think i will be always buying tires here. They have the coopers i want. Sign up for emails and wait for a sale. Then rotate and balance and punctured tire fixes covered for life of tire. Yea im enjoying it. They are always nice at the shop to help get you back on the road.

Great people, prices and service. It was my first time buying tires from there, now I see why my peers highly recommend them.
