1Ventured out for some Snowshoeing out in Bend, researched Wanoga park area through all the forest park websites and maps. We arrived in the wrong area that was labeled for snowmobile trails. The website doesn’t do a great job of pointing out trail heads or having a video to show previews of routes. We drove to wanoga area with a steep hill for sledding. The wonderful and helpful volunteers at the Discover your forest table were battling wind gusts to keep their information tent standing upright. They were very helpful in recommending an alternate spot for snowshoeing that was dog friendly. We had an awesome time and appreciate their help. Lost travelers looking for snowshoeing trails keep an eye out for this information booth with amazing volunteers.
