D&J Taco Shop, Baker City OR

Nothing but praise for D&J taco shop. Very consistent in their food and can always count on it being delicious. If I need Mexican in Baker City, I'm going to D&J without question. Owners are awesome to talk to and you can tell they care about their customers.

We really enjoyed our lunch and agree with previous comments of guests who praised their excellent customer service. They have a great menu and lots of other specials/deals. What really struck us is their high quality standards that deserve 5 stars without any doubt. They are on top of the game when it comes to food allergies and cleanliness.

I called ahead for an order to go while we were passing through town. The food was great, they had our order ready and my kids loved it. Thank you!

Great tacos and burritos! It was a good break from the burgers we’d been eating on our FL to AK trip! The homemade Thai chili sauce they have available is delightfully delicious! Good flavor and good short lasting heat, they type of sauce that can only accentuate the food it’s out on! I bought one for home also!
Keep up the good work guys!

Tacos, bowls, lots of delicious fresh food. I’ve been here twice and I’ll probably be back. Vegan was no problem. Outside seating on the sidewalk was perfect on a nice day.

Vegan or not you really should give this place a go.

I rarely leave reviews, but had to give D&J a shout-out for their fantastic food and service. Their homemade hot sauce is delicious!

Awesome place to kick back and not to be missed. Never driving through Baker again without a taco fix.

Good food and friendly staff. The place is small, so there is not a lot of inside seating.

Stopped by here for lunch after visiting the museum and had the pork street tacos and they were absolutely delicious.service was excellent.definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out for yourself.

The owner is super nice and accommodating, but unfortunately the food was not very good. The steak and pork tasted great but the tortillas were cold, and the ground beef and the rice and beans lacked seasoning. The pickled onions saved everything. Hopefully they’ll improve with time and become the hot spot they have the potential to be!

The amazing food is only surpassed by the amazing customer service! Everything is fresh and delicious. My 90yo mother had her first pork street tacos and loved them! We will definitely be back, and encourage everyone to pop in and have a taco!

Best Quesadilla I've ever had! Hands down, not even close. I could have paid twice as much and still been happy!

We had lunch here today. This taco shop is inside the BakerTower, and is charming. The owners were serving, and they took time to make sure each menu was made to order. The shredded beef was amazing. Service was quick and individualized. Highly recommend for a quick lunch to go, or there was lots of seating inside the tower or outside. Definitely enjoyed.

Stopped in about 5 minutes before closing, which we didn’t know, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming even though they were so close to closing. We got tacos which were some of the best tacos we’ve eaten! Very well priced and loaded! Great little gem you have to check out! We bought a hat as well which are super cool looking and will remind us of our great experience! Check ‘em out!

Stopped here for dinner last month on our way back to Seattle. The tacos were delicious. The owners were friendly and warmly greeted us and took our order. I really liked the location inside the Baker Tower in downtown Baker City, it gave the restaurant a unique vibe. Definitely will return the next time I pass through Baker City. Thank you for the great food and service.

This was such an awesome find! It’s really difficult to get GOOD vegan meals on the road, especially in smaller towns. D&J’s totally came through with awesome food and super friendly service. Will definitely be a regular stop for us on future road trips.

A little bland if you don't use salsa.just like real Mexican food. Good value and fresh food. Great place to grab a monster burrito. Just remember the salsa.

Great to find fresh and delicious food while out on our travels. Easily accommodated vegetarian, vegan and gluten free while satisfying our meat lovers. Generous portions served quickly by super friendly owners. Well worth the couple minutes into the charming historic section of town. We found parking right out front. Super clean bathrooms and accessible space. Very happy and satisfied family of 4!
