13 It was my first trip to the area, and I highly recommend Dogwood Motel. I look forward to the opportunity to return!
We stayed in a cabin the first night and moved to the main townhome located in the back when our larger group arrived. The cabin was great - extremely clean bathroom, beds, and kitchenette, and very quick Internet (the whole property has great wifi). The property also has quick access to the river (wooden stairs but not steep), a koi pond (with lots of koi fish!), and a beautiful gazebo.
The larger unit was great for 4-6 people. The townhome was very clean (including the sofas and tabletops), and has a beautiful kitchen. I loved sitting on the front porch in the mornings and the back porch in the late afternoons for relaxation and reading.
Tez and Melissa were so very kind, and they had so many great recommendations for places to visit and see. I also got to meet regulars that stay at the Dogwood year after year for decade (s). It made for a really fantastic week, and I didn’t want to leave!
Gorgeous river scenery, clean friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable and courteous caretakers!
Really enjoyed the Koi pond, will definitely be back

Nice old-fashioned motel with a koi pond and river access. The rooms are like old cabins with air and heat, but it feels like grandma's old home. Very comfortable. Staff is very friendly

Love love LOVE the home like feel it gives off. Perfect little cute kitchen with utensils, small coffee pot, stove top, oven, mini fridge, microwave, and stocked paper towels! This is very responsibly priced and my friend and I both got full beds that were very comfortable:)

Quiet and comfortable plane to stay with very reasonable rates. The staff are wonderful people who are very accommodating and friendly. Love this place for business and pleasure. WiFi was awesome for my wife's remote work.
Delightful and relatively inexpensive Cottage, rooms come with a full size refrigerator, microwave and kitchen table you can also get one with a kitchenette. Nice and clean
Absolute gem in the middle of nowhere. Better than Airb&b for similar price. Friendly staff, great Wi-Fi. The room we stayed in was very newly remodeled, pristine!
Love this place. Great location and the river across the way basically made our stay super exciting. We could have hung out there all day if we had arrived sooner. Heard this place is under new ownership so hope they continue on with the great place or make it better. Hope to return again:)
