Don has been my provider for several years. He is never in a hurry and seems to really listen to me. My pain has been under control, though we’ve needed to adjust it here and there. I attribute my successful pain care treatment to Don Winder!

Caring, up to date on new technologies, most of all. HE LISTENS!
I have a very long and complicated medical history, I've had 60 operations including cancer. I was in-and-out of emergency rooms and hospital visits to the point where I was considered a frequent flier. I received every snide comment and accusation you could think of period and then I met doctor Winder. He listened and I went from being a frequent flier at the ER to now not being in the ER In the last 4 years!
I took 23 medications. Down to 4.
No other doctor would listen, they wrote me off as an addict, a medical mess, and I even had an ER doctor telle once it was in my head. I was on the operating table within 48 hours having emergency surgery for a collapsed intestine after that!
I have had nurses tell me they only have to look like they're helping me on paper, I have had doctors throw prescriptions at me and tell me to crawl back under the bridge I came out of, I just was at my wits end and figured maybe they were right that I was nuts! And within 6 months of seeing doctor Winter I was not pain free, but drastically reduced And have been medically stable evil and even in some cases much Much better. I would not go anywhere else or see anybody else. Not even the doctors that are in doctor Winder's office! I believe in him so much I take my autistic son to see him after his spinal surgeries and my son is doing incredible.

Don has helped me greatly thru my journey into opioid reduction. I came from a previous dr who over prescribed my medication. Don gained my trust and every step of the way reassuried me by giving me sound advice on what I may experience from spinal stimulator to steroid injections. I am very appreciative to Don and the clinic staff. It has taken me 5 years but i am now taking medication that is safer and has given me the confidence to trying even more things.

Dr Winder is amazing. He understand the big picture of your individual situation and takes the time to go over options that could better help you. He's a great doctor. Highly recommend him at Pain Care Specialist.

Excellent care and time actually spent with his patient without making you feel like just a number—you are an important person/patient to him/them and they are extremely helpful and supportive to the person to help with pain issues

Don has helped me so much with the pain I’m experiencing I have total trust in his decisions of trying to take away my pain if I’m not sure of the technique he’s wanting me to try he will explain in better details, where I am comfortable of trying the procedure he hasn’t failed me yet. Very knowledgeable and willing to work to solve the problem. He is always ready with another idea. I've been very comfortable with Don and trust his opinions. Pain is hard to get a handle on. I don't feel like I'm just another appointment for the day.

Dr. Winder is great a physician. At each appointment I have, he truly takes the time to ask how I am feeling, going over any tests I have done, if medication is working, or if we need to find a different solution.

My mother Frieda says he is friendly, kind and takes his time with her and I have to agree, I take her to all of her appointments.

I have seen Don Winder for quite a while. He is very kind, and educated in many different modalities of healthcare. He is not afraid to refer his clients out for alternate types of care, nor is he lacking in knowledge or experience of treatments/procedures that can be conducted in the office there at the clinic. I feel that Don winter goes over and above for his clients. I would just like to express my gratitude. Thank you so much.
