Scheduled a last minute appointment and I absolutely loved the results. The environment was super nice as well.

I came for a Re-do and was paired with Kayla this time. Not only was she so personable and kind, she also saw my vision and was incredibly patient with me to meet closer to my dream Balayage. Should you have any concerns about who to schedule with, I highly recommend Kayla.

Dirty disgusting salon, rude staff, outdated and over priced. They constantly try to sell you more then what you went in for.

I went to Jake after taking recommendations and reading reviews. I was very anxious since he was new to me, and my first haircut since way before the pandemic. I have short to medium hair, and I'm extremely particular. I want someone strong and confident enough to style me without too much direction based on my face. Jake instantly made me relax, I knew I was in good hands as we became quick friends. He was speaking my language.familiar with fine hair and knows how to make it feel and appear fuller. His suggestions were music to my ears.yesss! Someone knows my struggle is real! I just relaxed and enjoyed getting to know him, he's hilarious. He gave me an amazing cut and suggested some sun kissed highlights.so glad he did! My color is the bomb! Really flatters my cut with lovely honey and Carmel tones. So yummy!
I am so ecstatic with my hair! I get tons of compliments even when I roll out of bed and head out the door.

I visited Dosha a couple days ago. They took extra care with their covid safety measures - attending 1 person at a time, switching out smocks, and setting up individual stations. I really appreciated that.

Of course, they also did a phenomenal job on my hair.

Made an appointment at 10: 30, arrived 10 minutes early, told me I had to wait until 11: 15. I made an appointment three weeks prior and after waiting an hour, they tell me they don’t have time for hair coloring after I made an appointment for color. Horrible service very rude staff and definitely won’t be returning. Don’t waste your time here.

I had Hannah and she was amazing! I came in a few weeks ago for a friend and she was amazing! I got the same service as my friend and a nice hand massage! I highly recommend this place and Hannah!

The girl that did my hair did a fantastic job! She was very kind and I felt very comfortable with her taking on such a dramatic change for me. I got a color and cut! It was amazing. Everyone else made me feel welcome. I will definitely be back.

Laurie is a superb stylist and colorist! She listens carefully and is friendly and caring.
I noticed that many of the overhead lights are out; replacements would make the areas more inviting.

I LOVE this place! I moved here from MN and was skeptical of finding a new stylist. Sam is awesome! I recommend her 100%. Very sweet, nice to talk to, and skills on point! I already can’t wait to go back for my next appointment.

If you can book him, Jake at Dosha Bridgeport, will give you an unreal salon experience. His cuts and color will have you looking like a million bucks! He listens to what you're looking for and makes it happen. He's a riot to hang out with while you're getting your hair done, he's super professional, and makes sure you're happy, relaxed (he'll even give you a head and upper back massage) and feeling beautiful! The rest of the Dosha Bridgeport staff is always lovely too- helpful, knowledgeable and friendly!

I usually have a great experience here. But the hairdresser I just saw botched my haircut. I have gotten a long layered haircut for years though dosha and never once had an issue. I had a "junior" stylist do my hair even though I usually see a master for just this issue that I had today. When she was done my hair had a little bit of layers for about an inch and then it was about 3 inches of nothing and it looked awful. I explained to the hair dresser when she had finished that my hair had only layers for the first inch and not anything else. Her response was "I gave you long layers and that is what you have" they were not long layers and I showed her where she needed to add layers. I would know as this is the same haircut I have had for the last 15 years. She got more frustrated when I asked her to fix it and so she went and got her manager. The hairdresser explained that I wanted long layers and that is what she gave me and had no idea why I was wanting more layers on the bottom. The manager showed her how to blend layers so that they would go throughout the hair and showed her how the hair needed to be fixed. Instead of being rude to me as she obviously is still learning she could have politely asked for help and apologised as well. She also dropped the blowdryer on my head because she was too busy looking around instead of paying attention. This is the first awful experience I have had here. Lastly just for anyone who is a mom and has kids. They want let you bring them with you and let them sit and read a book if they are under ten. I brought my daughter along originally for a mom daughter date when I had booked a master stylist and they said she couldn't stay which was tough for my sweet girl who wanted to watch the process and spend time with me. I had to drive her all the way back home and then come back to have a junior stylist which was not what I wanted. It's just a shame that well behaved older kids can't just sit and watch/spend time with mom like we did as kids when our mom would get their hair cut.

Update: The manager called me and was very kind and was sorry about the experience that I had. I am glad this location has a manager that handles these situations with kindness and grace.

Eric Howell is a GOD of hair! I received a cut you just can’t get somewhere else. I never tell Eric what to do because he is the expert and he has never disappointed. Always on point! Flawless! The worst period in my adult life coincided with the years I was not getting cuts from Eric. Coincidence? I think not! I was a regular customer for many years, following him from 23rd to Bridgeport and I will be a loyal customer from now until he retires. I cannot recommend him higher. The premium you pay is worth every penny!

I came to Dosha for a corrective color consultation after a series of unfortunate hair color events at another salon. I was immediately felt at ease with Kirstie. She was sympathetic and reassuring. We talked about what I wanted and if it was reasonable. She formulated a plan of action and then got a second opinion from a master colorist. We discussed cut and color and cost.
I made the appointment and when I arrived our initial plan wasn’t going to work as expected given the state of my hair. She quickly came up with an alternate plan and began work. It was A LOT of work. I felt comfortable with the change in plan and she was always professional and answered my many questions fully and with a degree of confidence that I valued. At the end of my appointment, my hair is great! I could not have asked for a better outcome. I walked in with an embarrassing color catastrophe (I am not exaggerating) and walked out a bombshell. Thank you Kirstie and Dosha for making me feel like me again!

I’ve been going to Dosha for years, but had never been to this location. I had a great experience, and will be going back on a regular basis. Kristi did a perfect job with my coloring, taking it from very blonde to a few shades darker. Conveniently located in the Bridgeport shopping center, so you have an excuse to visit a few stores after your service:)

Help me look way better than someone my age should look.) Olivia was great and I had a fun experience at Dosha Bridgeport.

I LOVE my colorist/stylist Bailey P. I came here from the Los Angeles area so am SUPER picky and I finally found my gal. I have very long blond color treated hair. I get compliments so often because she really does such a good job. It’s got a top shine that is more platinum blonde but still can see all the different color textures throughout. She’s very skilled at her craft. I’ll never use anyone else as long as I’m still living here.

Hannah Rothwell is an absolute pleasure. Her knowledge of color is spot on, and she's super friendly and flexible. As my appointment progressed, I had different ideas about what I wanted for my hair and she just flowed with it. I came out looking like a million bucks with bangs, layers, highlights, lowlights, the works. And she gives a heck of a wash and blowout. Go see her!
