It was good until there was a problem. Ever since the new system April 18th, I haven't been able to make a payment. On the app it won't allow me to enter an amount to pay, the equivalent of digital blank check, no thanks. Tried making a payment over the phone and it doesn't recognize my account, yikes. Any attempt to call has been half hour or longer hold with me giving up. I am going to be transferring my loan. I refuse to have their faulty system affect my financial budgeting.

After seeing some of the other reviews, I'm going to contact the dealership and inform them of this.

This has been the best car buying experience. I am in my 70's and have bought 8-10 cars. Everyone i spoke with was very pleasant and patient.

Website, app, and reaching an agent are all inaccessible. Can't register an account. Only thing that work was the payment automation on the phone but didn't provide confirmation to phone or email.

I just barely got financed with them my payment is going to be on June 20th but I’m not sure how I’m able to pay them since they never provided me with anything not even a loan number please reach out to me I am actually getting a headache to pay you guys money haha they just sent a link to register a account but I’m not able to register not sure what other way is possible for me to pay you guys?

I’m on hold for 10+ minutes every time I call there is no automated timer telling me an estimated time to pick up.

They have changed the way to make a payment three times now in the last four years of me paying for my vehicle. They just released the app with a ton of bugs and changes. My account is still not approved for me to make a payment. Yet they still report my payments late when I am unavailable to make payments due to their systems.

Also super predatory interest rates for i tonal loans and force you to pay almost $1000 to refinance. Do not recommend

Worst place to get financing everything they say it's a lie they won't finance you good bad credit they don't care all they care about is there numbers not the customer stop putting my credit buyer beware driveway dos not care about there consumer only there image an bottom line

Ask the dealer qho you are being financed with before you sign. Absolutely horrible company, and seem to be on the scamming side 9f business practices. Had them for 3 months paying through an app, they dissolve the app for a new app and require people to re-sign up and when you do they send a message saying that they have recieved the request and will let me know if I can use their app. Since when does someone need permission to pay a company the money they are owed. Thank goodness I was able to get out of that loan and into something better with a legitimate finance company. Update, they also charge daily interest on the loan even after they have received notice of the vehicle being paid off. So they charge interest everyday until they physical receive the funds from the car dealer. Low life crooks stay clear of these scammers.

Easy to get the loan, but I have a good credit score. Yet despite my credit rating, driveway offered 7.59% interest.
Was able to refinance at 2 percentage points lower than what was offered by driveway.
Now entering the 7th week to get gap insurance refunded. Grrrrrrrr!

Called yesterday to inquire about GAP refund. No callback as promised.

Called today. Informed that the insurance company sent driveway a refund check. There is no reason that I can think of for Driveway to hold that money for 6 weeks other than letting it accrue interest for them.

Always an issue. Funds applied wrong and not to principal every month. Even w preset payments made they still send $ past due papers. (I pay $400 more per month automatically so it makes no sense!)

I wish I could give zero stars. Since they transitioned to their new system on April 18th, I haven’t been able to establish a new account. I’ve placed multiple phone calls and have had multiple tickets open but no results. It’s been almost a week since my last call and no contact since then. Fortunately, my scheduled payment went through and I have documentation on both ends to confirm my payment. But this is absurd to have this many difficulties to migrate to a new system. I am seriously considering options to move my current loan elsewhere and will never consider future loans with this company.

What is going on. My payment hasn’t been posted. Now it’s 2 days late. Nobody is answering the phone. How do we get in contact with these people.

I have been calling all week. Insane wait times and still have not been able to get someone to fix my problem.

I financed a 2014 Lexus here in Oxnard CA. The dealer found Driveway Finance. My interest rate was maybe 3%. I paid through the app. Paid off my vehicle in 10 months. Driveway sent the payoff notice, DMV later sent the title. No issues with Driveway at all. I had a great credit score for financing. Only need to call customer service once to pay more than $1,000 via the app. Would recommend.

Absolutely terrible service can't get a hold of anybody waiting about an hour or more and still on hold

The new app is Terrible. You can not monitor the schedule payment. It’s hard to reach an agent. The app gives you little to no information. The company should have left it how it was the first time!

Would like to pay my bill. Have a new online system. On hold forever. No way to contact anyone. I guess my car is free now!
