Great 18 hole course with a few water hazards. Staff is very friendly and the course is fun to play at a fair price.

Dutcher Creek Golf Course was a great stop on our summer of 2023 #golfjam tour. The breathtaking views around this golf course made for some great golf shots both with our clubs and our cameras. The golf course was in good shape and the price did not break our budget. The staff were kind and the drink prices were fair. The golf course has just been upgraded with all new cart paths which made for a smooth ride, which was good for our backs for a change. We are hoping to return to Grant's Pass again soon. Both the front nine and the back nine had very challenging holes. Being as this was our first time playing Dutcher Creek we all agreed we would make different choices next time around as this is one of those courses where previous course knowledge is a huge advantage.

This is a super course for beginners, although most Grants Pass people play this course. Enough shade for the summer and great during the Fall. People are generally friendly on the course, which adds to the experience.

Recently my eight year old son has taken an interest in the game. I haven’t played in many years and I was having personal issues trying to figure out how to get him on a course to get a feel for it. They were incredibly accommodating! I asked what hours were best to get an interested kid on the course and the gal that answered the phone knew the exact plan. She booked us a 4: 30 tee time so we weren’t a nuisance and holding players up. Also, the gentleman that was there gave us a friendly heads up when someone was behind us. We intended on staying out of the way but his help and demeanor was very professional. You can tell he is favorable of the next generation of players. It was a great time folks and we really appreciate how easy you made it for my son and I. We are very much looking forward to the next visit!

Pro Shop was well run and hooked me up on a set of brand-new Cleveland rentals. Absolutely worth the money. Very picturesque and a great place to get a stress free round in after a busy day!

Looks like your enjoyment at Dutcher Creek is top on new owners score card. This coming from more than one person spoke with during my round. “The course has been recently landscaped” said one of the employees. “Removing or pruning trees to open up fairways and working to improve greens. ” I played on 3-22-23. Dutcher Creek offered views of snow dusted foothills, clean air, geese, ducks, and a peaceful setting on a few miles off I-5. Power carts, pro-shop, friendly staff were the first things I notice. On to the golf. Fairway grass was in good shape and greens roped true with a some break and were protected by water and sand bunkers making well placed tee shots and controlled second shots key to navigating this track. I got a power cart but included with my app. However, the course only has a couple of holes with much slope and there were several golfers walking. Thank you for the round.

Fun local course. I would play it again. Played as a single so course knowledge was limited. Can be pretty tight so playing for 2nd shot position is critical.

I posted a great review a year ago but need to provide an update based on my golf experience at Dutcher Creek today.

First, the staff were friendly and helpful. The Pro Shop had some women’s golf apparel and that’s not something many golf courses offer! The cart paths are now all paved and the forward tee boxes have been repaired.

Sadly, myself and my golf partners will not likely play here again unless the course itself has serious improvements. On the first tee box, there were a couple of gentleman walking around looking for their golf balls. We were a little irritated it was taking so long, but quickly came to understand why! The grass just off the fairway was so long, you could not find your ball! There were some large patches of mud that completely stopped a great drive down the fairway, but worst of all, there were so many toad stools in the fairway that were the same size and color as a golf ball! It was like looking at a field of golf balls and that is completely preventable and unacceptable, making for a pretty miserable round of golf. We finally walked away from our “lost” golf balls and we rarely lose more than 1 ball when playing a round, if that. I really hope they can step up the course maintenance but its not likely we will know if they do, as we have decided not to come back to this particular Grants Pass golf course.
