I love their lunch buffet. They have very friendly service and delicious food with vegetarian options and gluten free pakora (ask ahead on this, as sometimes it's intermingled).

While it's not the very best from among the other Indian restaurants in the Hawthorne - Cesar Chavez area, it is quite decent in both the quality, quantity and price. I have been here once for dinner and twice for lunch, and it did not disappoint. For dinner among the regular Indian dishes they do offer the choice of thali for $17 which is just like ordering one main dish along with dal, rice, naan, rasam, a second dish and some amount of Indian desert. It is more than sufficient for that price. For lunch, they do a buffet and for the second time I just visited to once again have the mutton curry. The lunch buffet is a variety of options too. Overall, as mentioned earlier - it is pretty decent for the price you pay.

Have loved this place for years! Fantastic for Thali menu. Love the addition of the bar. The main dining area has become a bit of a drag with the noisy distraction of the takeout staging area. Diners don't want to sit alongside the takeout hustle and bustle and see first-hand why their service has slowed. It would be great to put some kind of wall or sound-proof screen between the two and ensure proper attention to diners.

This is my favorite Portland Indian restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is lovely, they encourage kids, and they allow you to order of the menu during buffet hours which is important to me because their veggie korma is the best thing ever and is not part of the buffet. <3

Cute spot for Indian cuisine. I ordered the Aloo Gobi and it was very delicious. I requested mine extra spicy and vegan. Prominent and robust flavors. Our server, Matt, was also very upbeat and quirky. He was helpful and did a spectacular job of making our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend giving this place a try the next time you're craving some Indian food.

We loved the veggie samosa, they were fresh, crisp, and made in house. Garlic naan, Tikka masala, and mango pudding were all delicious! We look forward to going back!

Easily the best Indian food I've ever had in my life. The Tandoori Chicken was flavorful and spicy, as was the tikka massala. The buffet was priced really well and the service was really great. Definitely recommend.

The pakora here is unbeatable.light and so delicious! Many other good dishes. We keep coming back and are never disappointed.

First time having Indian food and what a great experience. The waiter was very patient with us explaining every item in detail that we pointed to on the menu with spice levels and textures of the item. He also recommended a great Indian beer for the great weather that day. The food was delicious but take in mind it is spicy. The dining area was clean and comfortable.
