Eastport Food Carts reviews
13Awesome food, we tried 4 different carts (Indian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Middle Eastern) and all were delicious. Lots of fun to just walk around trying all kinds of stuff in one spot
This place started out great for us!
A lot of good choices
Friendly service at the beer truck
An easy walk for m my husband an me.
We have been increasingly disappointed as some of our favorite trucks left.
Today it was rainy and cold.the beer truck was closed (past noon on a Saturday)
Outdoor heaters off.and it was cold
Can’t do indoor eating due to medical issues.
We did not stay even though there are still since really great carts. I wonder why. No heaters
No beer truck
Many closed carts of the carts still remaining
Sorry we really used to live this pod
My favorite Indian food is from Indian hunger point.the chicken jalfrezi is the best I've ever had
I ate it all. When I'm on vacation I like to try everything. Had delicious Veggies from the Indian cart, 3 meat platter from Turkish cart, and phad Thai from the Thai cart. All of it was exactly as expected, made to order and. Mouth watering goodness on a hot day in Portland.
My sister and I had lunch at los tamles oaxacan cuisine and it was amazing, food was hot and delicious, we'll be back to try another cart next time
My brother and good friend Robert Garver's celebration of life was held here. The owners were even kind enough to honor his memory (as seen in photo). All the vendors are very kind and the variety of foods in the same location is phenomenal!
Very interesting layout. For it to be a Saturday afternoon only 50% of the carts were open for business. There also weren't that many patrons at the location (less than 20) which I found quite unusual. I spent my day food truck surfacing and this was the only location that wasn't full of people. It seemed a quite distance from others but the area seems to represent a mixture of cuisines. Maybe being close to the popular fast food restaurants doesn't help their business although pricing seems appropriate.
Great food and a fun variety of cultural food. They have plenty of seating for the size and most are covered. Friendly service and so far the two times I’ve been there the food was great.
Love it there's something for everyone and it's never overly crowded and prices are good
Great selection of carts (BBQ, Shawarma, Sushi, Boba, Thai, Gyro, and more), rain or shine (covered eating areas), park can be tough (no off street parking).
Great choice of food: Thai, Mexican, Sushi, Middle Eastern, etc. Nice seating at picnic tables in shaded areas.
Lots of options, Thai, Indian, Afghan, Greek, Chinese foods
Some have boba tea and fruity drinks
We are not native to Portland so maybe we didn’t plan it well but not many carts were open. Arrived on a weekday and was smaller than expected.
We ordered a garlic bread naan (Taste of Afghan) that was very dry and not what was expected.
The pork skin cabbage salad (during preparado) was delicious. The plantain dessert left much to be desired. (La Isla Antojitos)
Edit** Editing review to reflect just the pod! But just wanted to point out that many of these positive reviews are similarly reviewing individual pods as I did before I edited it. The ease of finding information on the carts via website can use some updating, including hours of the carts online next to their names could be helpful! Overall is a nice experience.
