Elmer's Restaurant - Cornell Oaks

The food was very good and served hot. When the manager wasn't on the floor the wait staff was very slow. Our waitress was marginal at best. Was not very attentive.

Have gone to Elmer's for years.always feels so homey and the greeters and waitresses always make you feel like family!

Always a great experience here. Servers are always super nice and helpful. The manager is very attentive to his guests. The food is always fresh and hot. Good coffee also. Great place for a nice breakfast.

We've always loved Elmer's. Now that we can eat in again, we headed there. Delicious salmon with veggies. Hubby enjoyed prime rib.

Elmer's is always a consistent place to have breakfast. Kind of an upscale Denny's. Service was good.

Arrived mid-afternoon, they weren't busy at all. We both ordered Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs with hash browns, sourdough toast, side of salsa, red & green Tobasco. Had to ask the busser for jelly for our cold, hard toast as it didn't come with our order (toast.no jam/jelly?) and the waitress for the salsa we ordered. Whatever they use as a spread on the toast didn't melt (see pic). As I said cold, hard toast. My steak was cooked but tasted of uncooked flour. On the other hand, the store was clean, the wait folks friendly and helpful. Eggs were perfectly cooked and hash browns nice & crispy.

I like this restaurant! They offer first-cleass food, their menu is varied, The chef in that restaurant is a professional, I enjoy very much eating all their food. The food is consistently fresh, the attitude towards the customers is nice. I go often to this place and I was never unhappy. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Great food, Angelica was on top of everything we asked her for. Very friendly waitress attentive to our needs. She did an excellent job.

The food was gross. To be fair, we got dinner items. The wait staff was very friendly and respectful. Stick to breakfast items probably.

Nice service. Good food mostly. No salt or proper for the eggs, or offered, hash browns were not seasoned and undercooked.

Food is okay half way the time. Used to go for quiet breakfast now it's always very busy and loud.

Seriously THE BEST place to eat! Everyone one is nice and attentive to us customers! I'm a forever customer!

You know if he called his food then you guys need to get the heads checked and out of your butt cuz this is not a food that is disgusting as hell rude customer service don't go there

Food was okay not amazing. We went in for breakfast. I got the chicken fried steak breakfast plate and my husband got biscuits and gravy. The food was okay and hot, the waitress was friendly and everything was nice and clean. If I needed a quick breakfast I would go here again but don't expect anything fancy

Food was delicious and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Always enjoy going to Elmer's.

Went when place was super busy. Food took long time and sandwich bread for my meal tasted like grilled on pancake area so over powered taste I wanted for my sandwich.

Servers where rude and sat a screaming child behind us they took their time getting the food out and I swear half the old people were dying of Ebola

Visited for breakfast and service was wonderful. Our server Karen felt like a mom. She made sure everything went great. Thank you for taking care of my family and myself!

The staff was wonderful the food was fantastic. The atmosphere was great and I had a wonderful time on my 90th birthday. Special kudos to our specific waitress.

We had a great time at Elmer's! Sarah was our waitress and she was very attentive, and polite! She actually sent my friend's food back on her own accord, as the food was not to the specs of my friend! That is amazing! So, we had a great time and Sarah is the best! We will go there again when we are in town! Thank you so much Sarah!
