Emigrant Lake County Park reviews
14The place needs the water slides back. There's nothing to do there. Lake is almost empty. You can't have a picnic. There are way too many yellow jackets trying to bite or sting you. Went there with a group a lot of people got stung.
Very slow fishing lake, easy access to the boat ramp but again Catfishing from the dam off the bank gets results.
We stayed a week here. It was fun at the lake, but the yellow jackets made it impossible to eat outside. Also if you have young children you might not want to camp here. We had a run in with two different rattlers on two different days and one slithered right into our camp!
It was up very overgrown I would have gave it to 0 from wabber was gross it was disgusting place immigrant Lake
Although this lake isn’t the best lake in the area or a typical Southern Oregon lake, it does have its upsides. I would recommend it for a day-use lake rather then for camping. The day use areas are beautiful and well kept with grills, tables, and shade trees whereas the tent campsites are bare minimum, low quality and not worth the $25 unless it’s your only option. Trailer camping did seem to have higher quality spots. The lake has some unique views and qualities but absolutely no shade on a hot day. Not suitable for pets imo.
Decent place to camp. The county does a good job of maintaining the property. My only gripes would be the yellow jackets are bad this year. We can't eat outside without being constantly herrassed, so we all spit up and eat in our trailers. A few family members have been stung. The other thing I don't understand is they have grass on the day use areas, but in the campsites, there are nothing but these thorny weeds. Other than that, this place is quiet and pieceful.
Really sad to see such decline
Garbage everywhere and bees have taken over
Nothing like 10 years ago
Unrecognizable
And to pay for it?
Been here a couple of times. Man-made lakes have their own ecology - just sayin'. Multi-use water sports at the beach (north)
It was amazing drove down to see my son in Medford Oregon he took us to this Lake and it was just absolutely beautiful
Fantastic place to camp and swim. We go every year and have so much fun. Wonderful camp hosts and the whole area is taken care of
A very nice lake to spend a pleasant and safe time. You can bring your boats and walk around the lake
Every RV site has a lake view. Full hookups and sites that are not starting into each other's windows. Highly recommend.
Took the dogs for a swim. They had a blast. It's always a good place for the boys to have fun.
Great camping experience
Oregon State parks are superior to any other state we've been to and Emigrant didn't disappoint. Great stay
