I’ve been considering a breast augmentation for years now. When I initially called to make an appointment, Espirt’s phones were down. I filled out an online form on their website and got a call back later that day. The woman on the phone was pleasant and scheduled me in. All was good until she asked for the $200 consultation fee - the most expensive fee of any of the other doctors I researched and consulted.

The day of my consultation I get a phone call from the receptionist informing me that their 3D imaging is down and I could either reschedule or come in regardless and not get the imaging. I wanted to get the imaging, especially at the $200 consultation fee price, so I rescheduled.

The day of my rescheduled consultation I get another phone call from the receptionist saying again that their 3d imaging is down and I can reschedule or come in. I’m a busy mom of two young kids, as any mother knows, it’s tough enough to schedule appointments yet alone rescheduling. I decided to keep the appointment and meet with Dr. Connall.

The day of my consultation I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I filled out some paperwork and a nurse brought me back to the consultation room. The nurse was very warm and pleasant (the best interaction I had that day). Dr. Connall was professional and thorough during the consultation and answered my questions however, of all the doctors I’ve seen he was the only one that recommended a small implant with fat grafting - the cost of two procedures instead of one. Additionally, said I could come in again a year down the road and increase my breast size with another procedure. So, instead of one standard breast augmentation I was looking at 3 to get my desired results. Initially, I liked the idea of fat grafting as I do have some fat tissue to lose, but hindsight I feel like it was an up-sale tactic with the 3 procedures.

After the consultation, I was brought into the scheduling room to book surgery. I was interested in getting on the schedule to then go home and talk it over with my husband. I was not told there was a $250 surgery scheduling fee, as my card was charged that same day. So now I’m 450 with Espirt with no 3d imaging and a procedure I didn’t intend on getting.
I decided to continue with the surgery, as i was excited to finally get my breasts done. On the day of the pre op appointment, I met with a nurse first and as she was going over my notes, she stated I was getting implants and liposuction (not fat grafting). I corrected her and said Dr Connall wanted to do fat grafting in addition to the implant. Another red flag that my surgery was incorrectly written in my file. This led to me having to now get a mammogram because of my age - this was NOT mentioned to me during the consultation by Dr Connall, the nurse or the scheduling secretary. Because of my age, my insurance won’t cover a mammogram and it would be an additional 300-500 out of pocket. At this point, I get a huge rush of anxiety. I would not have scheduled the surgery had I’d known I’d have to get a mammogram.

There were too many red flags, too chaotic, unorganized, non transparent and sneaky that I decided not to move forward with the surgery. Ultimately, I want to feel safe with the doctor and staff when I’m going under on anesthesia. I want to feel confident that I’m safe, I’ll attain my desired results and I want to feel more than I’m just a monetary value. Due to my concerns listed above, we asked for at least my $250, as there was no way I felt safe or valued to go under the knife with them. Dr. Connall refused to refund the $250. He offered to pay for the mammogram, but we explained to him all the red flags and he didn’t budge. Dr. Connall refusing to at least refund the $250 is so telling of his character and the Espirt practice.

I wouldn’t recommend Espirt or Dr. Connall and staff to anyone. I would run far in another direction, as there are competent and compassionate surgeons in the area. Save yourself the $200 consultation fee and just cross this doctor off your list.

My wife scheduled a consultation here. On the day of the first appointment they called last second to let us know their imaging software was down so we should reschedule for a week later which we did. On the day of the rescheduled appointment we get another last second call and the imaging software is down again!: (
My wife went ahead and did the consult anyways and had a okay Consultation with Dr. O’Connell. He suggested fat grafting and breast surgery. Upon the pre op appointment the nurse had no idea that fat grafting was apart of the surgery which was scheduled 1 week away. They also didn’t know they’d need a last second mammogram to do the surgery.
Very unprofessional and sketchy experience.
Nothing but excuses and blame on my wife after the pre op. It was $190 for the consultation and they snuck in another $250 to schedule the surgery. We wasted $440 on this place and got no imaging and confused staff. VERY disappointing.
There are other more professional Doctors in the area who do not charge consultation fees and whose imaging softwares work. I’d highly recommend looking elsewhere before booking here.

I was referred to Dr. Connell by a family friend for a reduction, and after about 2 and a half months post surgery, I could not be happier with the results. Everyone has been unbelievably kind and accommodating from start to finish. When I received my first consultation I was out of state, and the staff came together to organize one remotely and schedule the procedure to perfectly line up with my return! As for the actual procedure, I'm in my early 20's and haven't had any major surgeries, so needless to say I was nervous, but the process was completely seamless to the point where it literally felt like a routine appointment. The anesthesia team is **incredible**! My recovery went smoothly with minimal pain and scarring, and Dr. Connell and crew were there every step of the way to check in and make sure everything was going to plan. To everyone involved, thank you, from the bottom of my heart - before surgery I was suffering from severe back and shoulder pain, and was feeling super discouraged at my inability to lose any weight in my chest. This summer I've been working at a job that has me doing a lot of physical activity both professionally and recreationally. I can finally do all of the hiking, biking and rafting I love completely pain free:) I seriously cannot speak highly enough about everyone involved. For anyone considering a similar procedure, you should absolutely consider Esprit as one of your top choices, they are truly the best!

14 years ago (2009) I went to Dr. Connell after problems nursing from birth trauma had left my breasts uneven. I'd always had tiny breasts and hoped pregnancy would give me a more feminine figure, instead I secretly felt deformed. Dr. Connell is a consummate professional with a gentleman's disposition and soft-spoken bedside manner that puts you immediately at ease. His staff is warm, welcoming and entirely non-judgmental. I was incredibly nervous and embarrassed going into my consultation, and entirely excited, relieved and at peace when I left. One of my biggest worries was being able to afford it, but they worked with my budget. I didn't know it then, but my happiness and self-confidence was worth every cent. The staff and medical professionals were transparent about everything and I knew all my options, every step of the process, and someone was there to explain everything that was happening on the day of the procedure. I am petite and had small saline implants (B cups) inserted through an incision in each armpit. Doctors are still amazed when I show them. The scars are very difficult to see and the breasts look and feel natural all these years later. Although we were on a very tight budget at the time, I know I made the best investment of my life with Dr. Connell. He changed my life and I am a happier, more productive, healthy woman because I feel good about myself and no longer carry a reminder of a painful, scary time in my life. Do not trust your precious body to anyone else. Go see Dr. Connell if you are considering breast surgery or cosmetic surgery of any kind, and feel great about it.

Hands down the best experience! Dr. Connell and his team made me feel comfortable and welcome from my original breast augmentation consultation! They made sure I was heard when it came to what I wanted. Some of the other doctors I visited told me what I needed to get and Dr. Connell, from the minute he walked in the room, asked what my goals were and what I wanted to look like. This made going into surgery a piece of cake! I was confident I was in good hands and I would wake up from my procedure with the results we had agreed on!

I am extremely happy with my results and would refer any one of my friends or family to him! With Dr. Connell and his awesome team, you’re in good hands!

The staff is so kind and helpful, and Dr. Connall was the best! He did such an amazing job, my surgery was life changing in the best way possible. Could not recommend Dr. Connall and Esprit more!

I cannot recommend Dr. Connall enough! He delivered exactly what I envisioned and told him I wanted. The team of nurses (especially Alisa) were just as amazing. The entire team is phenomenal. From the first consultation, all the way through post op, they took such amazing care of me.
