Eugene Saturday Market reviews
18It's funny this is saying that I was at the market 1week ago, but it has definitely been at least a couple of months since I was actually at market and even longer gap of time since I actually set up to vend or even played drums there, I'm in Lincoln city by D River, if anybody wants to find me. Oregon's changing, hopefully for the better? But is certainly different than it was, it is a shame, I loved Oregon the way it was but I understand that the only constant in life is change and without it comes stagnation and decay.so change away and find a new way to play?
This is my favorite market it's 100% handmade and just very unique items and friendly people.
Lots of things to see and do if you're into homemade candles, jewelry and bongs. Lots of other things too of course but personally, it wasn't for me.
Everytime there is a ton of vendors. Unfortunately it's the same 5 things sold by 25 different tents. Love the Jamaican food cart.
For a Saturday market, Eugene's version has plenty of stalls filled with amazing handicrafts made by talented people.
Just wish people would be a little more respectful of personal space.its no surprise that lane county has had some of the highest numbers of covid cases when people seem to have no spacial awareness.
Our produce is great tho and we do have some cool artist
I have the MOST fun here! I love bringing the kids and just taking in the sights. There are hundreds of amazing Craftmen and wonderful musicians and amazing food. There's even a drum circle you can participate in. Highly highly recommended.
Gotta love the market! Local artists selling their handmade goods is where it's at. I was a bit disappointed by current food options, but heard some booths are coming back. Zero social distancing from visitors, not booths. Regular onslaught of non-service dogs despite signs on every corner.
This was a cute little market. Actually it was pretty big. The food market was down the block a bit. Very fun thing to do on a nice Saturday. Nice collection of booths with handmade jewelry and art.
Shop around for produce, some vendors really mark up their fruit/veggies while others reasonably price their produce. The markets new location on 5th st is a lot better than where they were before, imo:)
It was alright. Mostly a lot of hippies selling bongs and tie dye clothing. Not much diversity in products. Only worth your time if you are into that kind of stuff.
Such a delightful experience, as always. Haven't been in years, was a little scared it ws going to be different.or too crowded. Same ole Saturday market. Had a lovely time and left with everything I came for and more.
Sweet Leaf Organic Farms was fantastic! Not only are their veggies great, but thanks to Dave and Chelsea, they donated 70 ears of wonderful corn for a celebration of life of a retired fireman from Lorane. Thank you so much!
This is my favorite time of year to go to the farmers market they have a large variety of fruits and veggies. And you can use your ebt card to purchase!
In a word. UNIQUE. Great variety of local artisans, craftsman, and retailers. Plenty of local "character & color" to give you a true sense of Eugene.
Great place to buy, trade, or talk about ROCKS. The food at the stalls is overpriced and the locals are often rude and condescending, but that's a Eugene tradition, best I can figure. The produce is often the best in town (unless you subscribe to a CSA) and the Market has the best selection of local honey you'll find.
Always a great place for a Saturday morning to go. Lots of things from hand maid jewelry, food music, ext lots of people show up so u will never be lonely if you don't like crowds u might not wanna go but it's fun go anyways
Got out on the block to sell my woodwork, and made a few sales. Pretty stoked for the vibe out there. Beautiful people, and exquisite hand made craft. The place could use a few shade structures, but other than that, I am happy to come out here, and hustle. Enjoy your time out here at the Eugene market. Glad to be a part of the experience.
