Everett Street Autoworks & Mechanics reviews
16We’ve used Everett Street since first moving to Portland in 2010. We’ve always found their prices fair, they never try to upsell us, and they’re so friendly to work with. They stand by their work and always want to make things right. They recently helped us with a car rental when a repair was taking too long, even though it was due to them waiting on a part from someone else. Even though we no longer live in the neighborhood, we go out of our way to use Everett Street because we know we can trust them.
I have taken both my vehicles here more than once and each time I had fantastic service Vehicles were fixed the first time with no other issues.
As always the staff at Everett Street Motors were friendly, efficient and very professional. The work was done in one day and I was kept informed throughout the procedure. I have trusted my cars to ESM for many years and have never been disappointed. This is a great company that exemplifies honesty and fairness. I highly recommend Everett Street Autoworks to everyone.
An honest business that has their customers interests in mind. Fair pricing and the best customer service. They are friendly and knowledgeable. My go-to auto shop.
These guys helped me when I was in a real pinch. My regular mechanic burned down and their other locations were far away. This is walking distance from my apartment and they did amazing work. Brought the car in Monday when the appointment was to bring it in Friday and it was done Thursday. Looks like I have a new mechanic until my other ones back up and running and then I can rely on both!
Do not be fooled by the reviews claiming they will not upsell you. I went in for an oil change, alignment, and to inspect a coolant leak. I was told the coolant leak was the radiator. How much to replace it? $875.the claim was 400 for parts, and 475 for labor. Now i get that shops can charge whatever they want for labor, but at their $90/hr rate, they were essentially saying this job would take 5.2 hours, which is absurd. As for the parts, I challenge you to find a place that sells a 2014 Subaru Legacy radiator for more than $150 (you wont, they dont exist). This job should have costed ~$450 at any honest shop.
After that quote, I looked up a YouTube video, bought a radiator for $70, and spent 2 hours replacing it myself. Dont waste your money, their prices are borderline criminal.
They take the time to answer all my questions. I've taken my car to them for years and their quality is consistent.
Everett Street Autoworks is the vest car repair shop i have used. I wont take my car anywhere else. Thanks so much for rhe great service
Best Autoshop for me- ive been going here exclusively for a couple of years now and I am so grateful to have found a place that I trust. The team here is honest, helpful, and I have never felt taken advantage of despite my very poor understanding of car care.
I’ve been coming to Everett Street for years now. Even though I moved to another city I still come here because everybody is extremely professional and upfront. Had a huge list of repairs and they worked with me to get everything completed. When I got my car back, I heard new noises and they took the car without hesitation and fixed the noise without any additional charges. Highly recommend coming here.
Everett Street Autoworks is great. I had a great mechanic who became a very close friend. He fixed up a very beat up 2005 Subaru Outback and then sold it to me two and a half years ago. I was very sad when he retired and closed his shop. I couldn't find a reliable mechanic until I found this place. They have a Subaru specialist mechanic. He fixed several things perfectly, and at a very fair price. If you live within 5 miles like I do, they even pay for your Lyft ride home, both ways! Kevin and Justin are super-nice and knowledgeable to work with. It feels great to have a new mechanic home!
They keep an eye on my aging car, and are efficient in handling the volume of vehicles that they work on. This visit was a routine service before a long trip and they got me in and out promptly.
Everett Street Autoworks is an ethically managed and well-run business. Their operations are synchronized very well between the various teams. Their customer service team professionals are very knowledgeable and ethical and always put the customer first.
I would like to especially mention Nestor Alvarez who always goes above and beyond and keeps our two cars running smoothly.
Kudos to the entire team! Keep up the great work and exceeding our expectations!
Very detail oriented while explaining their assessment and approach to my issue. Great communication and I trust them! Will be returning.
I love taking my car to Everett Street. There's no other mechanic in town that I'd trust with my rigs!
There was a recall on a part they used in my service. They called me first thing in the morning, came and got the car from my work and made it right, then redelivered with no inconvenience to me. They’re very communicative, professional and straightforward. I will be using them in the future as well as recommending them to others. Thanks again y’all!
