Take a historic journey through aviation and space history so large it is housed in two completely separate massive structures. Housing everything feom the Spruce Goose to a SR71-Blackbird, there is plenty to keep you busy for a few hours at least. Staff and volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable plus the entire facility is kept clean.

Pro tip: Bring a picnic lunch to eat between visiting the aviation and space buildings and give the kids some time to play on their enormous playground.

Excellent air museum. Plenty of place to sit when you get tired. Lots of static aircraft on display with the one of a kind Spruce Goose being the heddliner. My only critism is there were lots of trainer aircraft, but didn't see any P51s, or B17s which were pivotal in WW II. Nor any NASA experimental planes other than an X15 (which is one of the coolest X planes). The SR 71 was a great display.

First of all, the tanks, B-17 and several other exhibits are gone. However, this collection is still practically a once in a lifetime experience. It does break my heart to see some pieces out in the weather, infested with bees. Like seriously. An ungodly amount of bees in some cases.

It's amazing to think that Oregon has the Spruce Goose, V2 missile, A10, SR-71 and the flying banana!

Way cool! Stumbled upon this museum on accident (though I had heard of it and the spruce goose before) and it was awesome! Well worth $20.

I enjoyed my visit here. A little high priced, and they will let you stay 3 nights in the parking lot.

All my childhood dreams com true. I visited for half a day and absolutely loved every minute. The spruce goose is a sight to behold, and the many volunteers lurking about the place are ready and willing to tell story after story about each of the magnificent aircraft. Loved seeing a SR-71 blackbird and was given the detailed tour by a lovey volunteer lady. Will return one day with my kids for sure.

Wonderful people and spectacular museum. Thank you so much for preserving the spruce goose and protecting, educating, and loving such an awesome piece of history. The extra cost for the inside tour of the goose is well worth the Price of admission.

Great staff and an interesting collection make this one excellent air and space museum. The space side is particularly well organized with parallel timelines for Russian and American efforts during the space race. Lots of interesting planes and other vehicles everywhere. Lots of activities for visitors of all ages including an awesome play structure for kids. Well worth a visit!

Must see for aviation. The spruce goose size is something that you can't capture in a photo. I spent all day here. Check with admissions for the free tour it is worth the time required. The space portion of the museum is very educational and has a SR-71 that you can almost touch.

What a great suprise this museum holds. I saw so many things of interest that it's hard to list them all. Plan on spending at least 4hours plus to see it all. From past history in flying to modern technology. The Spruce Goose was so big that it just amazed me. & you can go inside to check it out. To have you picture taken in the cockpit costs extra. The food & beverages are good too. Then there is the other building that houses the Space displays. Take a camera. A great many rockets, space vehicle's & other cool things to check out. It's impressive the collection of special historical space equipment. It is a little costly, but it is so worth it. A very memorable experience I will treasure.

This museum is pretty amazing. Admission is kind of expensive, but it also includes admission to one movie in their theater. One of Evergreen's highlights is Howard Hughes' Flying Boat, the so-called "Spruce Goose. " It is truly awesome, dwarfing everything around it. I didn't get to spend as much time in the Space exhibit as I would have liked, but their collection of craft and artifacts is impressive. (I got a thrill out of the fact that they have some items on loan from the Cosmosphere in my home state of Kansas.) There is one rather unfortunate and disappointing issue with this museum, though: the only two uniforms on display that are not housed in cases also happen to be the only women's uniforms in the Aviation exhibit. One, an ATA uniform, has a ratty paper sign that tells a brief story about its owner and mentions a cap, which was nowhere to be seen. The other, a flight suit, is on a mannequin that is too short for it, so the legs are resting on the floor. The only information about the flight suit is the name patch on it, "Peggy Carnahan. " I mentioned all of these issues to a museum volunteer, who stated he didn't see a problem with it. Some other museum workers told me that people frequently complain about this and still, nothing has been done. Seems to me that all of their uniforms should be in display cases. Anything less seems disrespectful to the people who wore and donated those uniforms. This is why I chose to give Evergreen only a 4-star rating.
