The staff was great and they were very good about social distancing. I met my new doctor at this visit and saw her for less than 5 minutes. Otherwise, it was a good visit.

The Dr was professional and thorough, however, it took way too long before he appeared in my room to spend 10 minutes with me. My appointment was scheduled for 10: 40 and I didn’t see the Dr until 11: 50.

My experience was absolutely awful. Has I walked in as new clients 2 receptionist in a bad mood arguing with each other? Ignoring our presence, the screener at the entrance had to strep in to get their attention for them to check in. We got there 10min early and still waited an hour to be seen.

My daughter had an allergic reaction to the eye drop they use, totally ignored. Saying it’s normal? She couldn’t breath, itching and other symptoms.

And to end glasses made incorrectly.

Very professional. I was seen quickly, stopped/greeted at the door by a person who checked my temperature, advised me no drinks allowed (had to return it to my car) checked me in and I was seated in chairs 6 feet apart (signs said not to move them). The tech who did my exam was friendly, efficient, and patient when I needed a moment or to repeat a lens comparison. Dr. Exam was thorough and yet I was out of there pretty quick. All in all quite satisfactory.

I needed to replace the lenses in my glasses as my prescription had changed. My quote was $844. I took my prescription over to Costco and not only got lenses but new frames for $259!
I felt that the girl in the glasses department was short with me and semi rude.
I like the doctors here but I cannot recommend the glasses department

Excellent visit with Susan Sorenson. Adjusted my contact lense prescription and gave me much better clarity when reading.

The office staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable with the COVID protocols. I was treated with respect and understood everything that Dr. Armour conveyed to me.

Let me share our recent experience with the Tigard location.
I took my 83 year old mother there for her first patient visit. She was told to expect to be there 1 1/2 hours. She suffers from dry mouth, so based on the amount of time she was told she would be there, she took a bottle of water with her. Upon arrival, and while wearing her mask during the COVID screening, she was advised she could not bring her bottle of water with her. When she asked why, she was told that since she would have to remove her mask to drink, it was not allowed, and no accommodations would be made. Note that the COVID update on their company website makes no mention of this restriction. She was politely told if she did not like it she could leave and that’s exactly what she did.
The state mandates are quite clear in regard to mask use, stating that “Masks are currently required statewide at all times unless you are: Eating or drinking, among other exceptions”
It is our opinion that the inability of this business to make accommodations for an elderly woman in this unique situation speaks volumes about them and my mother has taken her business elsewhere.

The technician who did my eye exam was very informative and positive during the exam. She worked quickly but was responsive to my questions and was very friendly and considerate of my mobility issues. The doctor was also responsive and helpful regarding her recommendations. It all went very well.

Very professional yet friendly front desk, thorough exam and investigation into a eye issue that was not given the same attention at a different eye clinic. Highly recommend Dr. Cook and Eye Heath NW!

Cataract surgery, one eye after the other.
Dr. Armour is an EXCELLENT surgeon, and her surgical staff were SUPERB at making me comfortable.
Pre-op, Dr. Armour explained everything very clearly, and ensured that I understood the procedure. She also clearly explained the lens options available.
Operations were brief, no discomfort, and very successful.

Dr. Armour and her team gave me my life back.

Always have to wait for a long time before going back in room. This time it was 20 minutes. I think it is unprofessional to have people waiting so long in a waiting room, especially when no one is in the waiting room waiting with them. Make the appointment for closer to the time being called back.
