Sad. Overcharged. My husband and our insurance company are both appalled and disappointed. Not the same business post pandemic.
**In response to the reply from the owner – On more than one occasion my husband tried to work with pharmacy staff concerning the prices he was being charged. Also, a representative from the insurance company had also tried to sort this out. A resolution was NOT reached with your establishment. We have since taken our business to another pharmacy better equipped. Thank you for your reply though. No one wants negative reviews. But sometimes they happen. I hope this review can be used as an opportunity for improvement.

I have a super rare blood cancer which, if we’re being honest, is already kind of a bummer, so I don’t need any additional stress. There’s a (formerly local) pharmacy less than a mile from my house but with one of my meds EVERY refill was becoming a battle. At one point I left the counter in tears and called my doctor who recommended we try Fairley’s. It’s been several months and the difference between local and big chain is NOT negligible. The loop between my house and Fairley’s is 15 miles and I’m FINE with the distance.
Pride of ownership: helpful professional pharmacists, kind efficient staff. My questions always get answered, everything’s timely and above board. Today they switched my generic, TOLD ME it was a different brand, and offered assistance if necessary. If that seems like it should be the norm it’s not, and to someone like me it means a lot because my system is weirdly vulnerable right now.
It also feels important to mention that sometimes I’m too sick to drive so my husband will have to pick up my RXs and everyone at Fairley’s is always nice to him. That, too, makes a huge difference in our present situation.

This place is great. Can get my prescription and grab a really good latte too. Plus is supporting small business and not chain pharmacies.

Maybe this is a great pharmacy but I just had a bad experience. My doctor recommended using them, I waited a few hours and showed up to get my medications and they told me they won't help me because they have too many customers. Go look elsewhere. Waste of time.

Fairleys is awesome! My son’s meds were filled efficiently and accurately and everyone was so kind and helpful. Thank you!

Been going here for prescriptions since the 1980s. Also have taken advantage of the old soda fountain for cold & hot drinks and ice cream specialities. There are tables to sit at while you wait with free wi-fi.

Fairley's has a GREAT and Helpful staff.
Last Friday afternoon, I was in need of assistance as I had left my phone & wallet in my friends car and had no way to contact him to get it back.his barber shop is next door to the pharmacy and I knew he might be returning to clean up for the next day.but he hadn't arrived. I went into Fairley's and asked to use their land line phone.they made numerous phone calls for me and also helped me try to use my Apple Watch as well.basically, they went above and beyond to help me.
Ending- my friend finally arrived at his shop and my phone & wallet were recovered.
Thanks to Fairley's for their neighborly assistance.

First time picking up prescriptions here was a nightmare. They were short with me, rude, and ignorant of insurance policies. When I tried to ask questions they simply ignored me and I ultimately had to pay out of pocket for my medications because I NEED them. They told me they accept my insurance over the phone but then refused to bill my insurance unless I presented them with a physical copy of my insurance card, as opposed to my mobile card, which has never happened to me before in the 10 years I have had this insurance.

This place is great. Everything's affordable and the staff are really kind. They still require masks at this time since they have immunocompromised people come in for meds. It's great still having a locally run pharmacy in town.

Looks like a mom n pop shop that feels like a small and local business from the outside but on the inside it feels like a home brewed Walgreens ran by an absentee owner who’s just working on building his empire. Don’t be fooled. This is just another chain business in the making. Not some local business ran by someone cool who wants to be a part of our community. No soul, no heart, nothing special at all. 0/5…

Attempted to pick up a prescription here with a coupon through GoodRx only to be informed that they don’t accept coupons from them. I’m unsure how their pharmacy is even an option to choose from on GoodRx without their knowledge, but they should probably communicate with this app so their pharmacy is no longer included.

This is not the same pharmacy with new ownership. All the old staff members are gone. The old pharmacist are gone. It at least still compounds. They have some odd ball employees who give out inaccurate information. There is one guy that's good though, Zach. Zach took care of my purchases when I pushed back on the other employees dog doo doo information. I finally got all my scripts filled.

It saddens me to reduce my star rating for fairleys. We have been using them for almost 20 years. My husband his whole life. Even when we moved out of the neighborhood Bob took such good care of us and shipped us our scripts. We have tried to be patient with the new ownership and turn over of employees but for something as serious as life saving medications their new staff has been very careless with follow through on our whole families prescriptions. Being told things are in the mail and they arnt. Missing prescriptions and no record of who picked them up, updating payments everything. It's a mess there and the new owners should have a better handle on things by now. After a visit to ER for not getting my mother inlaws blood pressure meds out after they had a week to do so, to calling me and telling me mine where in the mail and having no record of it even being filled when we called is our last straw and will be moving to an online service that costs less, free shipping and will actually fill our orders on time.

Super frustrated. I've called and called and called. I'm double insured, finally got my med paid for by primary insurance, working on the co pay to be billed to my secondary. The prescription dated 12/2.it is now April. I've talked til I'm blue in the face. Once the billing process is sorted, I can have it mailed to me. It's like they have never billed insurance before.

I had been going to this pharmacy for over 4 years. Everyone there had generally been nice & welcoming to me. However, I'll just say this: Be prepared for staff to hate you if you’re an OHP patient, especially Bob (I believe he's the lead pharmacist). To be honest, I'm not sure if he was just having a bad day or is a genuinely volatile person.

About two months ago I walked in to pickup a routine prescription. At some point, Bob approaches me and randomly starts going off on a tirade (in front of other customers and staff, BTW). He accused me of doing the most outlandish things that even my doctor (s) could verify were demonstrably false. Having gone there for so long & having had an overall positive experience, I still can’t believe/understand the manner in which I was treated.

The pharmacy itself is good. Just avoid interacting with Bob if possible. You've been warned.

This is a hard review to write because I love the idea of supporting a small business. It's a clean place with staff who are nice enough, but the service leaves something to be desired.

I don't mind waiting but a half an hour is a lot when you're in a small building with quite a few people also waiting during a pandemic.

They tell people 10 to 15 minutes even when it's obvious that's not true.
I don't if they're understaffed or have too much on their plate but what was particularly upsetting is that I switched to them because they got such glowing reviews on Nextdoor.
