For a brew pub/restaurant of this size they need more than 3 toilets.
OTHER THAN THAT they have a great selection of beer, more of a club vibe with the music. The outside experience seems pretty cool with the "yurts" and fire pits almost a 5.

Great spot for good beer and tasty food. This place is a must stop if coming through Hood River and looking for a relaxed place to grab a bit to eat and some beers. The inside is well decorated, warm, and cozy. The outside has a massive fireplace that will keep your warm if you want to eat outside during the winter time. They have also started putting up yurts which you can eat inside of.

The food is good especially the artichoke dip and chicken sandwich.

This brewery is fantastic. The vibe here is so chill. We enjoyed all they have to offer; amazing brews, food, location, scenery, customer service, swag.they've got it all, and I HIGHLY recommend all to eat, drink, and be merry here. Cheers and thank you Ferment Brewing for the awesome experience

Disappointed. Had to order at bar instead of waitress coming to table. Also cauliflower soup had a weird taste nothing like cauliflower- didn’t eat it. Also asked if I could get a small side salad to go with my soup but they wouldn’t - even though they had a large salad ($16) on menu. Beer was good but we would not go back.

Recommended by a local business, and we definitely were 'not' disappointed. Good variety of appetizers. We had the kraut, kimchi, pickles, the salt and vinegar fries and the hummus and flatbread. Excellent! The Heavenly Bodies IPA was fruity, hazy and full flavored. We'll be back!

Great vibe and from, what I heard, really great brews.
We were in town for a wedding and while celebrating with a pub crawl the day after, Ferment was on the docket.
I could have done without the bartenders visibly being annoyed with our group, who kept the drinks (and the cash) flowing for over 2.5 hours. I expect snooty people watching out on the street or even from my fellow patrons, not where someone is supposed to be doing their job in the hospitality industry.
Our bartender made fun of me for nursing my drink (a pretty weak one and not very good one at that). Not in a cheeky way but in a, "hey look at this girl, taking a tequila shot, but not drinking her vodka spritzer" kind of way. Saying something about "mixing my liquor". To which I said "I'm sorry, who's paying who here? "

We visited on a Tuesday for lunch. Wasn’t too busy. Plenty of outside seating with folks and dogs and kids. Nice atmosphere. The inside is fancy with lots of big tables and a welcoming feel. Staff super nice. They had an ok IPA - I like a very hoppy one which they didn’t have right now. Hummus plate was fantastic with big portions. Chicken sandwich was interesting and worth a try. Highly recommend this place and outdoor seating.

What a neat building to admire along with beer fresh as the wood paneling. Large party's or a date spot for sure. Food came out correct and hot with neat diamond marks on my burger, and the fried chicken was sauced up to the last bite. Their NA selection added to their menu made my wife feel more comfortable ordering one. Loved it all.

If you are vegetarian, go elsewhere. They charge you $4 extra for a Tofurkey dog (on top of the $16 cost). They are the same price as regular brats. Ferment should stop punishing vegetarians with over the top price increases for something that costs the same price.

Beautiful place and terrace with a view.
Food was very average for the price.
The only thing we really liked was the falafel salad, and their different kombuchas!
The salmon and chickens burgers were a fail, unfortunately.
Good place to have a drink with a view rather than food.

Great stop on the way back from wine tasting in the Hood River area. Expansive beer selection and all 3 in our party found something to their liking. The outdoor seating area was bustling with wind blown patrons but we sat inside and were given our choice of tables.

Ordering at the bar was efficient and we inhaled our fried chicken sandwiches quickly. The Pearl couscous side was a light alternative to the French Fries which were great dipped in fry sauce. Highly recommend Ferment on any stop through Hood River for decent food, vibes, and brews!

Love this brewery. Their taproom is really more of an outdoor space. (For some reason they are not seating indoors at present.) The beers are super good and the food is also exceptional. It lends itself, for my purposes, better than anywhere I have found in “The Hood” to settle in and work remotely … including the coffee shops. (Hint: for electrical plugins use the concrete area around the fire-pit.) It’s super chill as you don’t feel as though you’re taking up valuable money-making space if you want to grab a pint or two and work for a bit. Definitely one of the highlights of our stay in the area.

Burger and fries done right! Nestled lovingly on a pretzel bun. Delicious. The attention to detail is incredible, even the ketchup was homemade! Great selection of beers, awesome view, lots of seating, great, fast service. Definitely stop by

Stopped by here after a motorcycle ride to Mt Hood. Enjoy the outdoor patio overlooking the Columbia River. Great food, service, and beer/cider. I would definitely come back if every back this way. Also liked the Architecture of the building. It was different.

Good food, great place to stop after a long day hiking.
Their sauces tasted homemade, and the fries were a great texture. I got the spicy BBQ bacon burger and it was very greasy but good, first bite is a surprise for the spice but overall wasn't tlreally spicy. Comparable to Sriracha imo.
Salmon burger was also really delicious, much healthier option to the burger.

This place is a game changer for the restaurant industry. The food is next level delicious. The salad? OMG…I’m in love! The chicken burger? What! Hello heaven! The Korean BBQ burger? My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The berry Sunday desert? Like an old fashioned berry pie…nostalgic. Their stocked root beer and cherry sodas are also next level.

The best kid’s menu in town.

If you want to impress your friends then take them here. So many happy plants all around. Great views. Lots of space for strollers/ wheel chairs. Just a perfect place to eat.
