Of the 4 Filson stores I have been to this one by far has the best customer experience. The staff are friendly, make connections with their customers and provide assistance. They helped find items that fit what I was shopping for and even looked online to find a location that had the size I needed. Drop in and give them a visit if you have a chance.

Really difficult to deal with when attempting to return a defective product within their stated 30-day return policy. I was given an interrogation at the store and then a complicated process with customer service. The easy return statement should not be trusted.

Ok customers. Staff mostly hung out at the cash register playing records. I would have bought something. But I didn't feel welcome.

This is a great store. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I came in to pick up a piece I had already researched. It was in stock. The salesperson packaged the briefcase nicely, since it was a gift.

Old School! You don't find this level of service anymore. I was greeted at the door and introduced to the staff when I arrived. This location is all Filson not just a section. Top tier gear and top tier staff.

Incredibly sad to see the almost non existent variety of women's outdoor gear, and after buying multiple jackets of quality previously I won't shop here anymore. Clearly going in the way of Danner boots and also now selling key chains, ridiculous.

Great shop. Low pressure, helpful sales staff. Best outdoor activity wool wear around. I just popped in to get my sizing right as filson runs big sometimes. That was no problem. No less helpful when they realized I wouldn't be making a purchase right away.

Didn't have right color of jacket I wanted. Found one in Seattle. Got it delivered to My home the next day via FedEx at no extra charge!

Outstanding shopping experience with Bobby. Filson is well known for their quality and lifetime warranty and the customer service I received matched that quality.

+ Bobby kindly explained what the warranty process is like.
+ Staff gave the wife a cozy chair to sit on.
+ There quite a few customers, but not once did I feel neglected.

Really amazing experience! The staff are extremely knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. The store has a unique Portland energy, totally different from the Seattle location. I enjoyed myself and the amazing customer service. If you’re looking for great goods and service, give this store a visit. It’s located in a great area of the city, easy access in and out. We had no trouble finding close parking. Definitely 5 star worthy

was first shown for sale in the fall 2020 catalog
I attempted to place my order with a credit card
and no email confirmation or product was received.
I was relieved to see that my account was not charged.
The online catalog indicated there was no available product.
I registered my email on the wait list and was never notified when stock came in about 6 months later.
I placed my order again, several days ago
and received email confirmation.
I tried to find tracking info.for arrival with a call to mail order customer service, only to receive a pre-recorded message stating that customer service closes at 3: 00 pm.
With Filson's prices as high as they are, wouldn't it be reasonable to ask
for operators to be available 24/7 like L. L. Bean, ORVIS and others?

There is something magic about putting a rugged outdoor brand store in an industrial, red-brick building, the urge to come in and check it out is real every time I pass by. The store features a lovely cabin-vibe decor and has a nice selection of clothes and gears. Unfortunately I find their tops tend to have too wide shoulders for slim people like me. Nevertheless I enjoy the shopping experience and the folks working there are so friendly and chill.

I've always loved going into Filson. The no judgement zone is welcoming and to learn that my beloved jacket is repairable absolutely made my month. Thank you Anna.

Go here to find time-tested and classic pieces from bags to jackets that will last generations. Perfect spot to find a present for someone starting a new phase in life like work, university, etc.

Covid in Portland is rough. So to find a store in Portland that is open is comforting. The staff there is friendly even on Christmas Eve! Always have what I'm looking for and willing to help with great advice, even if I don't know what I'm looking for.

I've brought my older filson products for repair a couple of times now and they always go above and beyond to get it back to me fixed and ready to go back to work.

All in all great store! Wish I had more $$$
