15Fitness Union provides an environment of real acceptance and welcome, where it’s not about how many reps you can do but about a mind/body experience that translates into life outside of the gym. I came in as a complete beginner almost two years ago knowing nothing about weight lifting. Training here is the longest I’ve ever stuck with one type of exercise and it has provided me with a foundation for all the other things I do — I feel the impact on everything from my daily mobility to my increased strength to my capacity for mindfulness. I love this gym and I love Kim!
I have been coached by Kim over the past 3 years and it’s been an incredible experience. I’m still just as excited to work out today as I was when we first started, thanks to our progress and her motivation. She has kept me honest with my goals, and motivates me to develop a healthy relationship with fitness. I work as a chiropractor and I really appreciate that her programs aim to help you get stronger and prevent injuries at the same time.
Kim also has specialized training in running assessment and hosts great workshops on mindfulness and meditation. I highly recommend!
Love the new space and being apart of Chris’ 7am workout crew! I was nervous to get back into group fitness after 3 years of random zoom classes, and 2 years postpartum, but it’s been really wonderful and a highlight of my week!

Working with Kim has transformed my experience of every sport that I love—from surfing to running. With the addition of strength training, I went from getting injured regularly, to having improved balance, strength and flexibility. Kim is knowledgable, inspiring, and dynamic. Every session is empowering, fun, and hard work in the best way possible in a small group setting.
Kim is incredible! Working out has been a way for me to open back up to the world in a way I haven’t really done comfortably since Covid. The group is so uplifting and supportive that I’ve never felt self conscious about my body, or silly learning new exercises (like at a gym). In fact I find myself getting stronger and pushing myself harder without even trying! The whole experience has been massively empowering! It’s one of the highlights of my week!
I have been doing a variety of different strength and mobility exercises but I was looking for some help with my form and also pain management (IT band nerve pain). Kim put together a 6 week program for me and it helped me SO much! I feel like I know how to squat better and more safely and also how to use a bunch of new tools that don't involve using any equipment. I'm feeling stronger and healthier and am really thankful I went through her program. Looking forward to other future programs with her; she is so encouraging and supportive her her approach. Highly recommend for anyone of any fitness level!

I’ve been training with Kim for 1.5 years and she’s kept me motivated and accountable for my personal fitness goals all along the way. Kim rocks! She has been a major contributor to my better health for years. She helps keep me motivated, on track and to evolve and push myself. She is also great at working within my abilities and injuries. I can't tell people how great she is.
Working with Kim is a DELIGHT. I had never worked with a trainer before and was somewhat afraid to start because I knew so little. Her warm energy and keen guidance have changed my life. I now know how much fun it is to feel strong! She is excellent at explaining new movements and goes the extra mile to make sure you get a full understanding of what you are doing. Thank you Kim!
Kim’s attention to detail regarding how I perform the excercises is really important to me. Not only have I gotten stronger training with Kim but I’ve not had any injuries. Kim is a great motivator and truly cares for her clients!
I’ve always enjoyed running, but needed help with my efficiency, training regimen, and injury prevention. Kim offers training that is unique to each person and their goals, and she knows that training is not one-size-fits-all. She customized a program for me that capitalizes on my strengths, and challenges the areas that need improvement. Kim’s training program has shaved considerable time off my runs, which has vastly improved my confidence and performance. I run more efficiently, with an increased cadence and stronger form, which means less recovery time after lengthy runs and a better, stronger feeling overall. Most importantly, her expertise has kept me injury-free for several half-marathons, two successful Hood To Coast completions, and I’m now 3 weeks out from my first full marathon! I could not more strongly recommend Kim for your training needs!
I call Kim my Spirit Trainer because that is exactly what she is.she is always there with me—helping me dig deeper, listen to my body, celebrate my wins (big and small). Kim’s customized workouts were a game changer. They keep me accountable AND allow me to workout when it works for my schedule. Training with Kim keeps me fit physically and mentally. Being able to check-in monthly in-person and continually set achievable goals is FUN and I always learn something new. Kim is a true gem!
