Josi with Flip Flop Sounds is hands down, the best DJ ever! She made our wedding super special, and to this day, our guests are still talking about how much fun our reception was! She really took to the time to get to know my husband and I, and put together the best curated playlist for pre ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had a few last minute changes to our ceremony and she handled everything with grace and absolutely crushed it. Not to mention, she is super cool and fun to talk to! Thank you Josi for helping us throw the best party ever!

Flip flop Sound was not only willing to be our vendor month of wedding but provided the best all around service. Specifically Josi (our DJ), was phenomenal! She worked with us leading up to the wedding and supported us thru the last minute vendor change. She really got to know us and personalized every aspect of our wedding, from pre-wedding music thru wedding send off. She emphasized special moments and enhanced a personal first dance. Somehow in very little time, she got to know our guests and truly set up an atmosphere of nothing but fun for all! Everyone loved Josi and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Your DJ really sets the mood from beginning to end and Josi killed it! Hands down a million star rating!

Briar absolutely CRUSHED it as our wedding DJ. We had silent disco headphones due to noise restrictions at our venue, and it was way more fun than we even imagined. Briar had two stations, a live one and a prerecorded one, that guests could flip back and forth on their headphones. Both had absolutely killer music and kept everyone dancing all night.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and speeches that also required sound went perfectly as well. Briar was so fun to work with and really made the event something to remember. Thank you Briar and Flip Flop!

Hiring Jeremy from Flip Flop Sounds was one of, if not THE best decision we made for the day of our wedding. Every song was perfect. Every transition and beat drop was perfect. The dance floor was completely full and did not stop until the very last minute that we were allowed. I cannot stress how much I would recommend Jeremy to be the DJ at your wedding/event. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I would.

Please hire Josi for your event- I spent so much time researching DJs for my wedding, and Flip Flop sounds was highly recommended. She chose my event as it was at a private residence- I had many emails, text, phone calls with her as she guided me through the process. She was organized, kind and fun the whole process. She worked with me to make it exactly how I wanted it from the beginning to the end. She worked with my wedding party and my guests to play everyone’s requests and worked alongside each vendor to make sure my wedding was going as smooth as it could and I was hitting each of my timeline events. She was so kind and calming on the wedding day and was so complimentary of our wedding. She gave me tips and help outside the responsibilities of a DJ. Josi is the exact kind of person you could only hope as a friend and DJ to be at your wedding. She was unreal and would love to get married again so I could have another event she would DJ at again.

Flip Flop Sounds and our DJ - Jeremy - absolutely crushed our wedding. We cannot recommend Jeremy and Flip Flop enough. We worked with Jeremy to collaborate on the vibe and mood of our wedding - from cocktail hour to dinner to early dancing and late-night dancing - and Jeremy took our feedback and thoughts and crafted a truly amazing soundtrack for the evening. Highlights specifically included the dancing portion of the night, where Jeremy played hit after hit, showing expertise in reading the dance floor, improvising, and keeping the party going to the very last song. Thank you Jeremy and Flip Flop for an amazing wedding DJ experience.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews but I feel the need to for this one since I contacted them directly and no accountability was taken. I will start off by saying we were really happy with our DJ Mike up to our actual wedding day, as he seemed great and experienced. He unfortunately ended up making many errors on our wedding day. The main one I will mention is when I was walking down the aisle towards my fiancé, the song suddenly stopped, then our exit song came on and it was so awkward and ruined this huge moment for me at my ceremony that I will never get back. I decided to wait to keep walking until he put the correct song back on. There were a few other noticeable errors, but we made the best of the rest of the night. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else. We all work so hard to made our special day as perfect as possible and at the very least want to count on vendors to do their part.

This is a review of their event staff, not DJs. In my experience, it’s like dealing with the most self-congratulatory high schoolers imaginable. Zero standards for professionalism. Looking for something reliable? Don’t look here.
