4 Girls, one river…
We had the most amazing time for our half day guided fly fishing adventure! Shawn our guide was amazing! We caught trout and white fish and took many fish pics.
We had such a great time, we are looking into one of the camping trips for next year and buying our own gear! Highly recommend booking this with your adventurous girl friends for your next girls trip!

Went on a 1/2 day guided trip on Crane Prairie with son and grandson. I have had some great days and some slow days on that lake and I was a little concerned about introducing my grandson to this persnikidy lake. Josh from fly and field took care of my concerns and took my grandson under his wing. We had a great time with Josh moving around the lake and putting us on more fish than I ever experienced. By the end of the morning, he had my grandson casting and setting the hook better than me.

Had a fantastic day on the lower Deschutes with Thad and my son! Thad was awesome, professional, personable and the consummate guide! Having grown up fishing this river he really knew every hot spot and promising hole! Great day and even caught a unicorn!

Absolute first class operation that Scott (owner) runs!

First day, we floated with 2 tremendous guides, Eddie and Thad, who went above and beyond for us throughout the day putting us on fish. They spent the perfect amount of time in the beginning going over some casting basics and then got us doing what we came there to do…fish. Some places I’ve used in the past spend way too much time going over casting and/or other miscellaneous administrative stuff which just unnecessarily cuts into your fishing time. Not these guys…they did it perfect and were incredibly knowledgeable and patient!

Second day, we hit Lake Paulina with Scott (owner) and Thad. Beautiful lake that Scott and Thad worked to put us on fish again all day. We had one youngster with us, and as I mentioned above, they were incredibly patient and plugged in with him to make sure he got some action early. That level of attention to detail really endeared me to these guys!

In short, Scott and his crew pay attention to and do all the little things perfect…which added up to an overall great experience for us!

Incredible fly fishing experience! Adam was our guide and he was a very skilled, professional, patient teacher and one of the best fly fishing guides we’ve ever had. Big bonus was that we all got lucky and caught fish! The trip was reasonable for a family and the check in staff were quick, informative and efficient. Would highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for a guided trip especially for a family.

Thad knows fly fishing. He is a great teacher. The fishing trip was an incredible adventure. The food was excellent. I highly recommend him. I would love to do this again.
