Excellent customer service. Hope the staff is payed what they're worth. Very clean and secure space. Professional staff, pleasure to do business with!

The storage place is a well maintained and manned facility. It's clean and offers all kinds of storage units and places to store your boat or trailer (parking spaces. The facility is gated and secure is is each building for extra security.

The ease of starting to rent is great the problem are as follows
1- consistent issues with electronic system to be able to use the gate code
2-NO ONE IS EVER AT THE DESK TO ANSWER THE PHONE
3- I called about my late payment and asked for someone to call me back I had a serious family emergency and forgot my payment. Called to make arrangements and instead someone just made the payment without my consent (not on auto pay)

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, both for U-Haul rental and storage space rental. I highly recommend Fort Knox Mini Storage and U-Haul for anyone needing U-HAUL truck rental or storage space rental

Difficulty getting set up with our unit initially. Employee had trouble just accessing the unit we were supposed to get into. Finally got in. Communication isn't 100% but the place is clean, not sketchy. Biggest disappointment is the access hours. I, like most folks, work 8-5 week days and have a decent commute. There is almost no way for me to go on a week day and either put stuff in or take stuff out because access ends at 6. I have to save all of it for the weekend. I really don't like having restricted access to my items. I would have gone with a location with longer hours in the day but it happened to be the location we were dropping off the uhaul anyway. I would feel better about the place if on week days they allowed access until like 8 or something.

They had management changes recently and we didn't get the communication to update Auto pay with the new management until the last minute. Updated address months ago, and they didn't update info.

Worried about the other people that may get their storage items re possessed due to the communication issues.

One of the best independent storage facilities in town. Staff is always helpful an you never feel rushed or pressured.

Would be 3 stars if not for a phone call from the manager. Rented a truck but didn't want to leave my personal vehicle there overnight (bad neighborhood at night) so I left the truck there until morning. The next morning the manager called me up and berated me for ruining her display because I parked head in. Keep in mind when I parked it there were no other vehicles on the lot display or otherwise. She then demanded that I come down and move the truck and wanted to know how soon I would be down to do it. Since I was getting my kids set up for school I couldn't run down there immediately which was not what she wanted to hear. Truck was great. A clean brand new Silverado. The employee who originally rented it to me was pleasant and professional. This would have been a 5 star review if not for the manager. Who calls up their customers and berates them for parking their truck in their lot? This was very unprofessional and should never happen.

Great family owned and operated business. Easy to work with.
Hours are a little tight but otherwise great security and take good care of the units and grounds. And I shouldn't write this.but they don't jack up the rates like public storage.

We rented a Uhaul from this location to move cross country. We were charged the initial amount. After plans changed, we called the office and stated we would only use the truck to transport our belongings to Denver, CO (half the trip). We were promised a $1,000 refund since the trip was over charged. I called the manager, Bill Stone, and he promised to help us out and to call us back the same day. He never called back. I called him EVERYDAY for a week straight. Left messages. Staff kept telling me to “keep calling him”. He never returned my phone calls. I had to get corporate involved and we’re still trying to get a refund! They easily charged us, but when it came to refunding us for over-charging, the manager is ignoring our calls. Beyond unprofessional. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT come here for your business.

Did not get the truck I ordered had to get one that is $10.00 more. The person at the counter was an the phone complaining to someone about the service she got instead of focusing on the customer she is supposed to help FIRST.

Easy and Professional. The lady that helped me out here was polite and professional and walked me through everything to make sure I didn't have any other questions. Super easy process renting from here. I highly recommend you check this place out rather than renting in vancouver. You save quite a bit not paying state taxes. I was able to pick it up and be gone within 15 minutes. Make sure you take photos of all angles in case they (uhaul) try to say you damaged something. Rented from Ft. Knox and headed to Ft. Knox, KY. Kinda coincidental but it works.
