Fred Meyer reviews
28I forgot that I hate shopping at Fred Meyer because they treat you like a criminal. I don’t use plastic bags and I forgot my reusable bags so I decided I would load it all into a box I have in my car. A security officer and another checker by the doors both stopped me separately and abruptly asked for my receipt, which showed I had paid for everything in my cart. The expensive prices are not worth it, especially combined with poor customer service.
JUSTIN was assisting me in customer service. Rather RUDELY ASSISTING ME. HE IS HANDS DOWN THE WORST EMPLOYEE I'VE EVER DEALT WITH. HE'S ARGUMENTATIVE, EXTREMELY RUDE AND CONDESCENDING. I SHOP DAILY HERE AND WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! HE SHOULD BE TERMINATED! I can't believe Fred Meyer actually allowed him to be a person in charge. Justin is an embarrassment to the company. A DISGRACE!
They never have carts, are always out of things, even with inventory everywhere, and I always end up having to bag my own stuff going through a regular check out. Have less employees standing in the entry ways literally doing nothing but greeting. Get someone on carts, stocking and bagging!
Could you please purchase more carts? I’ve been going to this store for the past year and 9/10 times there are absolutely zero carts around, not even in the cart collectors in the parking lot. This is a busy store, and I assume carts are part of the budget.
Was sold a bottle of Centrum vitamins through Instacart. The vitamins were expired 08/2020. Was told by a very curt customer service agent that it was Instacart's responsibility to refund me, but her response, that "my suggestion" would be taken into account shows a fair lack of interest in protecting their customers. Now, I understand it is Instacart's responsibility since I purchased the products through them, but my intent was to encourage these dopes to maybe check other products for similar defects. Now, the product I received had a seal that was bubbled up, and with 6 months expiration, I'd take that as more of a necessity than a "suggestion. " I may still shop here, but I really don't want to after this.
Just had a really great shopping trip with my hub, we were looking all over for a specific TV for the great deal. The deal sadly was up, but the employee helping us Evan did what he could to find us the next best match for an even better deal.:)
What's worse, Walmart or Fred Meyer. Very crowded. No carts nor baskets anywhere. I just left, not wasting my time in here nor money. Went to Safeway instead at least they had some carts available.
Fred Meyers was a great store during the 1950 and 1960, but it has gradually degraded to being worthless. Since Kroger bought it it has really gone down hill; too high of prices, the good brands no longer stocked or real overpriced, not enough checkers, and not enough handicap scooters.
The blonde curly haired girl working customer service provided me with a really bad experience just now! I can't keep expecting the staff here to be helpful, so I guess that's on me
I had an excellent experience shopping here at the Johnson Creek location. The associate in the home/garden center asked if I needed any assistance within moments of looking around. The store vibe was great and the further customer service I recieved from Loretta made me want to shop there. Great deals all around the store. Social distancing was observed yet it didn't hinder on the service I recieved. I even went back later in the evening to see if it was a fluke as I also recieved excellent customer service. My day tally of approx. $700.00 was well spent as I felt good on saving 50% plus on my purchases. Way to win a customer and make shopping what it should be!
Saw way too many people in the store with no mask at all also saw one employee with no mask as well.
Just a quick note.so they have hamburger on sale in the 3lb package.its originally $11.97.they have it on sale at. $3.99.a pound!? Uumm.ya.are you freaking kidding me!? Somebody needs to stop smoking on their lunch break.and go learn some basic math.its just kind of sad. Oh then I saw the ground turkey.
Kroger a conglomerate: greedy, bloodthirsty, technologically old school, and employees young with low hygiene & attitude. It's a grocery store.
I like to shop at this Fred Meyer, everyone is very nice and helpful. They always have what I need. Other places run out of stuff, not Fred Meyer!
Normally It's good but today I took my mom shopping and I had to put her grocery bags in the basket I thought that was kind of weird
Good store but a lot of loitering in the parking lot by what appears to be car prowlers. I have approached management about the issue, they say they have security but I don't see them enforcing loitering laws. Make sure you lock your car and watch your car if you choose to shop here.
Easy to get around in inside store. Nice this can be a 1 stop shopping exp. They carry such a variety of items.
Found everything I wanted, quick in and out with the self checkout. Stopped in the electronics department and was amazed at how bad the selection is. They do have a great grocery department. It is very well stocked and organized.
Front Handicap spots all taken by employees of Fred Meyer. Seen several of them walking to these cars. They seem pretty mobile to be taking them. Guess the staff are more important than the customers. Sad
I really miss the Foster Fred Meyers, the people seemed more friendly there. This Fred Meyers is ok, I don't shop there much.
