21 1) the meat department. As a former meat dept manager, I would’ve been yelled at by not putting out available products. I just had to ask for chicken breast tenderloins and the worker handed me one package instead of sticking a full case in the bunker. You also have chicken thighs out back too, absolutely pathetic how often this happens.
2) you have a whole self checkout section that’s not open and humongous lines.
3) everytime I show up in the afternoon there’s no small carts.
4) it’s extremely obvious Kroger is taking advantage of its customers by continuing to price gouge its customers.
There was an older lady that we have encountered before and she was snippy and mean and ran down me and my significant other was not pleasant at all and the price s are sky rocketed every time we go there we’re not shopping there anymore we will find other alternatives
I have been shopping at the Florence FM for 15 years and it has gone down hill fast. The pharmacy is a mess. 2 hour wait lines. The checkers are rude and snippy. Hey, I get it everyone has a bad day.but everyday? Just went through Sayda's line. What a biatch and not just to me. She needs some customer service training. Been shopping there less and less.
Had a bad experience here with a lady who’s worked there for a long time: she was super snippy. So I avoid her; even if she’s talking right to me. Today I had a good experience with a guy who has been there for a long time too, so it’s good to see employe retention at least. Got a great deal on couches today and the guy was super helpful. I won’t avoid him! Lol just gotta know who to work with.
Oh boy don't try to need help in this store, it's all about pass the problem on or ask a question they look at you like your insulting them.thanks for nothing but what do you expect from this place nothing
We have been in this store a few times over the years while visiting family in the Florence area. Always great prices, clean store and they offer a lot of higher quality products. We did some Christmas shopping while we were here. Helping out the local economy. During our visit we had an interaction twice with the same check out lady. Each time it wasn't pleasant, actually I wouldn't say she was rude I would say more of a mean person towards us. I'm still rating a 4 and I'm not mentioning names, but don't expect a great overall if shopping there. We shopped in the evening both times.
It's the only place I've been able to find slip-on shoes, plus they had a nice assortment of mums (flower's)
I love this Freddy’s, but with an outbreak of Covid cases in Lane County, you’d think the people cutting your cold cuts would wear their masks properly! Three out of 5 people in this department with masks covering only their mouths. I have photos, but why embarrass the folks.
Clean bathrooms and a great place to park to go and play on the dunes! Park out back by the curbside pickup in the southwest corner of the parking lot.
Nice store, but absolutely the WORST checkout lines ever. It takes longer to get through checkout than I spend shopping. Today, at a super busy hour, they had only 2 slow, chatty cashiers working.
Fuel area. Poor service. Asked for propane fill and waited for someone to come over after asking for service. Finally gave up and went somewhere else. They never even made and effort to come over.
Bought bad fruit had listeria and was told about it three weeks later on a receipt from the second purchase. No email, no phone call. They ripped me off on my 50 cents pee gallon when I joined and I think I was supposed to get a big credit too but never saw that either. I buy shoes there and that's it and if I could buy the same shoe somewhere else for ten bucks more, I would.
Enjoy shopping in the garden center every spring, and curbside is the greatest thing ever, no more wandering around this massive store tiring myself out!
Lots of selection here with great prices. Love the fact that you can find anything at Fred Meyers, so you don't have to run all over town.
Great shopping experience! Produce is fresh and delicious. We also hit a sale for clothes. Good selection of Adidas and Underarmor. Young woman was over the top helpful that works in the clothing department. Wish I remembered her name. I love all my new clothes. Thanks to her help I walked out with a new wardrobe and a very happy person!
I've always liked Fred Meyer. As much as I'm not thrilled about Kroger as a company, they haven't really messed up Freddy's much.
The guy working the meat case needs to learn customer service.listen to what the customer is asking and not be argumentative.the lady working self check out seems to hate being there.very unfriendly and acted like it was an inconvenience when we asked for assistance.
Always check your receipts. Sadly I have experienced overcharges more than a few times. It is up to the customer to find Fred Meyer's overcharges. It is really frustrating that their system can't be trusted as I do the majority of my shopping there. They have always corrected their errors and credited my credit card, but the frustration of having to scour over my receipt every trip gets old. Over $25.00 in errors over the last month alone on my purchases. I do not feel they are purposely ripping us off, but this is really getting old. Sadly, do yourself a favor and double check your receipts.especially before you leave the store as they can do nothing to correct the overcharges over the phone.which just adds to the frustration! This sort of error either human or computerized is unacceptable.
Gas station attendant had nose out of mask. Then told me I had to step inside the small booth to pay for gas cause "banner bank requires a pin". The proceeded to chide me when I only stepped inside for a sec, pushed the pin and again stood in the doorway with the door open saying "I'm wearing a mask, you're wearing a mask, it's all ok, you can stay inside. " I love the curbside delivery option, and will continue to support Fred Meyer on that front, but will not be shopping there for gas or propane anymore. It's not worth the 10 cent discount
Fred Meyer offers the best produce and freshest goods with a wide selection. The prices are a bit high on name brand items, but Kroger brand goods are quite cheap, affordable, and high quality.
