Fred Meyer, Canby OR

Meat Dept is very disappointing. I think they've forgotten how to trim steaks. I looked thru all the T-bone yesterday and they all looked horrible, an inch of outer fat ridiculous.but if you look at the service case that meat is trimmed appropriately and is eye appealing. There should be one trim standard throughout the Meat Dept, not one for sale items, one for self service and one for service case.
Had BOGO pork butts on sale, nice except they were marked at over $6 a pound, no one charges over $6 per pound on shoulders butt. I'm beginning to wonder if FM thinks its customers are stupid, because the Meat Dept is sure treating us like they think we are. I left the store and went to Cutsforth! I may pay slightly more per pound there, but by the time I trim your steaks, I'm probably saving money by not shopping at FM.
Someone needs to fix this market and fast. The Dept head obviously does not know what they are doing in the day to day operations.

Almost always have what I'm needing to buy when I shop here so that's great, only downfall that I've experienced is many of the employees act like you're a burden if you ask for assistance.

The checkers are unfriendly and unhelpful with poor hygiene. The organic produce section is never stocked has very limited items that are not fresh. I always have to go to another grocery store to get what I need. What happened to Fred Mayer? You used to be the best store to shop at.

This is by far one of the worst Kroger stores I've ever been into they are always out of things and the customer service is the worst

12 checker stations, only 2 working. So I go to self checkout where they want you to do their job. But no, they don't have half of those open. So 5 people waiting, to do their job. Then they lock most of the doors at 9pm (they close at 10). So I have to walk all the way around the store. So I talk to a manager and instead of saying I'm sorry, they just shrug their shoulders. What happened to customers first?

Usually clean and organized. Deli is average but the meat department is severely lacking selection of quality cuts. Other local stores have a far better meat department.

Canby store has lowered inventory so much. The garden center has almost nothing. They don't have enough cashiers. Self check employe passive aggressive

This is a nice, big Fred Meyer with great selection and solid sales. I recently stopped here and they had much better prices than I've seen in most grocery stores lately. I was able to find everything I wanted quickly and was extremely satisfied with my purchases.

I would like to give a 3 star based on the rest of the store but, the pharmacy is so disgusting. I cant go above a 2 star. For goodness sake. Clean the damn plexiglass!
It's so gross!

50 years old, they took my ID and scanned it into the computer without my consent, to buy cough syrup. This is a violation of my constitutionally guaranteed privacy protections. They should have asked/or informed me of what they were doing first, at which point I would have said, keep your lousy cough medicine

I am a loyal customer, giving business studiously several times a week! The only issues have been certain item availability and occasional produce quality. Staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable and of course Fred Meyer always does have a plethora of different types of items from housewares to camping gear. That is a positive feature of this location for sure! I have always appreciated the treatment from the staff when approached with any questions I have had.

Popular place for good reason. Some employees are rude but the manager "talks" to them. If you complain and speak up. I recommend that you have a Fred Meyer's membership card.

Fred Meyers is a great place to shop. Not enough checkers anymore, but it's understandable l, as it seems like anyplace you go, not enough help anymore.

Thank you to this fredmeyer for not forcing people to wear a mask. Genuinely appreciate the fact these employees didn't force people or treat people with unnecessary disrespect for choosing not to wear a mask. This store is greatly appreciated. Safeway and thriftway through their customers out of their stores. Disgusting places to shop.

Love shopping here except I hate checking out. I think it's about time you open more checkr stands. It takes so much time when you only have one or two open.

Normally pretty reliable, but today found molding produce in the "organic" section. Took a picture. Left my cart sitting as I walked out of the store! Re-evaluating my loyalties to Kroger. Lost a $213.48 sale to a competor. Sad to see so close to the holidays!
