Fred Meyer reviews
31 I sometimes forget how fortunate I am to live in such a food-diverse area as Portland, OR. This is my “local” Freddys and it has never let me down. Mind you, this Fred Meyers is replete with an extensive electronics, indoor/outdoor furniture, jewelry, banking and separate gardening area outdoors.
Please do not misunderstand, I do not want more people to shop at this Fred Meyers. In fact, the opposite is closer to the truth. I admit that other people need to eat, however, and thusly I begrudgingly share with the huddled, plague-ridden, obese, masses, the bounty and wealth of this Fred Meyers.
Normally fine. Would like to complain about the missing deli wraps I get but weren't there today. And that the boneless chicken wings I got were still frozen. I just wanted a quick snack and now I'm annoyed.
Always a pleasure to shop at this Freddie's, it's my go to place for darn near everything. Rewards program is awesome as I got $1.00 off per gallon of gas at Fred Meyer fuel. The more you shop and use your Rewards card the more perks you get. Receive coupons for stuff you actually purchase. Got a free bottle of Tropicana juice of my choice. Free is a very good price!
A pretty good place to shop. The people who work there seem to be good folks. Nice, helpful, and fast workers.
Been going here for 4 years, I want to shout out Michael working at the deli, idk if hes a new worker, but we love Michael, give him a raise!
I wish that this store's management would figure out the needs of customers. It's a holiday weekend, and 5pm. There's only 3 cashiers, and every line has at least 8 people in it. I've been been in line for 30 minutes. I don't work for Fred Meyers, and I don't work for free so I refuse to use self checkout. I'm going to Albertsons from now on. It's only two miles away.
Raleigh Hills store.employees are generally helpful to the extent they’ll stop what they’re doing to help you find what you’re looking for. The exception is the pharmacy. Lady sitting on the left desk is abrupt, generally rude, appears condescending and makes you work hard to get your questions answered. Apparently hates her job to the extreme. Customer satisfaction is not on her checklist.
Horrible customer service experience. Only 2 checkout lanes open and the wait was over 30 minutes. When another line opened, the cashier helped customers behind us while we were still waiting; 3 customers behind us checked out while we were still trying to. The cashier, Susan, ignored me when I asked why 4 lanes were open when we arrived at the store and now only 2 lanes at 6 PM on a Friday. Susan threw our groceries in a jumble in the bagging area damaging produce, meat and bread. When I brought it to her attention she said I could go get replacement items in the store and everyone in line could wait for me. I only had time to get one item and return to the line to pay. Bill was over $100 and this shopping experience took almost 2 hours. I will need to go grocery shopping someplace else now. Ironically they opened 2 more lanes as we were leaving the store. It was a 15 minute wait on the phone and 3 transfers before I could talk to a floor supervisor about what happened. The supervisor didn't seem to know what was happening on the floor; a very disorganized operation.
The staff are nice, but they sometimes put garden products on display that end up blocking the bicycle parking.
Your basic Fred Meyer but on a smaller scale than some. I like the staff I interact with in the bakery and deli. The cashiers however aren’t the friendliest of people which is why I like to do my shopping at a competitor down the way; it may cost more but the staff make it a better shopping experience. The one thing I like about the checkout at This location is they have self checkout stands.
The parking lot is a bit chaotic, but the store is well laid out and clean, and so far have an excellent staff.
I asked to find a couple of items at Customer service and was quickly directed to the correct areas of the store. Next, I found 2 different prices for what appeared to be the sane item. The sale price was honored. Quick and friendly service!
I happened to get behind a woman with a cart full of groceries and there was no bagger at this check stand, so it took an inordinately long time to get through the line. It's unfortunate that there are not more baggers and consideration of the customer's time via the volume of customers at the moment.
Smaller Freddy's, good selection of organic and bulk foods.
Parking not well thought out and can be difficult during busy times.
I've been shopping at that Fred Meyers for about 4 years, the deli food looks dried out unfortunately never looks good and when you buy a sandwich it never quite taste right. But the Natural Area bulk food is wonderful and the wines are good I wish they had a bigger selection.
Not the best Freddie's in the area. Staff isn't all that friendly. They don't have a lot of the usual items you find at most Freddie's in the area. Basically it feel like this location gets the leftovers from Beaverton and Tigard stores. It is a convenient location, however the parking lot and access to Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy is hard to navigate during busy hour which is most of the time.
I find that Fred Meyer is.the grocer of choice for me. Consistently their pricing is extremely favorable and the variety of products they offer is without equal. It is interesting to notice the differences in Fred Meyer stores -$ not in pricing and products, but in layout and management.
The most difficult fred Meyers I've ever been in all the soups were empty the reason i chose freddy's and it was before noon and it was cold really do they just hate there jobs and the customer that much the only reason I gave it two stars was because the cashier tried to help and was nice
Sorta one-stop shopping if you don't set your sights too high. Produce, staples, beverages, organics all copacetic. Housewares, hardware, pharmacy and miscellany pretty good, extensive garden section in season. Electronics, meh! Jewelery dept too, but not my thang so can't say. Friendly and helpful staff. Very Kroeger, which is mostly a good thing.
Great selection of stuff, but staff are not very knowledgeable or helpful regarding questions about product availability.
