Fridas Kitchen / TACOQUETO reviews
15 Every time I come here they are so friendly! The portions are always huge! I always get the burrito, it’s bigger than any other burritos at any food cart down town (I’ve been to most of them)
Also the first time I came they gave me a complimentary deef consome!
They always make me feel welcome and I’ve become a regular at this point. Definitely worth the visit!
Authentic amazing tacos. Tried the chicken & asada and it did not disappoint (I feel it’s important to note that my standards are very high since nothing compares to San Diego Mexican food). Tortillas taste freshly made & salsa was delightful, will be returning! Highly suggest!
Went before a concert, absolutely delicious food and the man who helped us was incredibly sweet- 10/10 recommend!
Absolutely phenomenal food. Lorenzo is such a kind and pleasant person to interact with, and he puts so much care into the preparation and presentation of the food he makes. He also works very hard to make his food cart look attractive and beautiful. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious and the portions are huge! I go here regularly and I've never had a bad experience. I recommend Frida's kitchen to all my friends.
This quaint little cart is a treasure. The food was fantastic, the service was above and beyond, and the ambiance was great. I love the theme, I'm a huge Frida Kahlo fan, it was colorful and chill. The staff/owners were so friendly and accommodating; creating custom orders to give us exactly what we wanted, and taking genuine joy and pride in making delicious food for people. Also, everyone cleared their plate. I will definitely be back.
I cannot believe the gem this place is.everything about it is perfect.the owner is a delight and you can tell he cares about making good food for people.one of the friendliest people i’ve met and is so happy to make anything for you.he doesn’t make tortilla chips, but i asked him for a bag and he threw one together with me with some fantastic salsa with genuine pleasure to do so.some of the best i’ve had in the city.will be coming here often since i live close by, this place is a genuine winner and must visit! Not to mention late hours? One of the only places open late with good food, i’m sold.
Immaculate vibes. Extremely generous and friendly service. Amazing food as well. Was very kind to us and our dog. Amazing value for the $ too. Highly recommend.
The tacos are huge and delicious! All the ingredients are so fresh, the meat is done well, and the owner is very nice. 10/10 would eat here every day.
This was the most amazing street food experience I’ve ever had in the world. Not a low bar. Lorenzo served us tacos that turned my world upside down and secret recipe sangria that will haunt my fantasies forever. He was so friendly and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Add this to your PDX list. We went on a 100 degree day and sitting outside sweating on a stool was one of the best life choices I’ve ever made.
I can see why this place is so highly rated. The guy here cares about his customers. You don't come across that too often, at least not me.
Went to check out the food cart pod on 3rd ave to see if anything was open with the heat wave. Ended up finding this gem. The guy working was super nice and personable. The portions and the food were great. Definitely planning to go back.
Delicious Al Pastor burrito. Large portion, not inflated with bland rice. Super fast prep time and friendly staff.
I don't typically write reviews but this place deserves it. Great service & excellent food.it's a winner! I had 3 tacos, pastor, asada, and shrimp and all great. So much larger and flavorful than most of the other street style tacos out there, couldn't eat all 3. Can't wait to try more on the menu! I devoured the first taco before I decided to take my picture)
This place goes above and beyond, the food is amazing and the owner is very friendly and is always making sure that everything is good.
Amazing fish tacos! The sauces, fish and tacos were just perfect. The guys were really nice.
Highly recommended.
The last time I had similar tacos was in Baja.
